Get Physical Music Presents: Rewind 2015 Part 3 - Minimix
13/11/2015 Duración: 15minFrom andhim’s magical remix of ‚There’s a Way‘ by WhoMadeWho, to Adapters ‚Synthetic‘, to Savvas Ysatis ‚Fade To Black (Camea Remix)‘ the year has been full of outstanding music. For part three of our ‘Rewind’ compilation, we visit the tracks that made the summer shine so bright (and just in time for your last minute ADE set preparations). Pieced together from many of our previous compilations and artist releases in recent months, you’ll find the best tracks summer had to offer. We’ve got some very recent material in there too, like Wouter de Moor - Pre ADE or Spettro - Fried Love. ‘Quattro’ by Tom Budden & Forrest finds a home, taken from their EP of the same name, as does Jazzuelle & Lazarusman - Forget Me (Fred Everything Devil in the Dub). We think you’ll enjoy this one, and we look forward to seeing you for Part 4 later this year.

Get Physical Music Presents: Brazil Gets Physical 2015 - Minimix
06/11/2015 Duración: 28minBerlin and Sao Paolo: A tale of two cities. Each engulfed in a rich history and both possessing such a unique character that the stark contrast between these heaving concrete jungles is wonderfully accented by the one lifeline they share: culture and music at their very heart, beating to keep the metropolises alive. From the masters of Tropicália to an epic night on a Sao Paolo dance floor, there’s no shortage of examples of why Brazil is a hotbed for musical genius. Which is why it’s the setting for Get Physical’s latest compilation. Put together by Davis, this release is split in two for your diurnal and nocturnal listening pleasure, a selection made, according to the man himself, “...to take your ears through some works that I deem essential, others that I consider timeless and some more that, together, concoct a statement of how great these times we live in can be, whether you are in Berlin or Sao Paulo”. The Dia mix, a positively oniric selection of some of the best Brazil has to offer alongside some be

Get Physical Music Presents: Essentials Vol. 11 - Minimix
16/10/2015 Duración: 09minYou might say Get Physical's newest installation of the Essentials series is a lesson in prolonging the pleasure. For this particular occasion, we've called upon our dear FreakMe, Italian DJ and producer who's no stranger to the GP family, to assemble the compilation. The mix spans 10 tracks and does not stray far from FreakMe's own musical aesthetic, which means you can expect a whole lot of sexy basslines and understated power. Off to a bumping start thanks to andhim's remix of the WhoMadeWho killer "There's a Way", the mix quickly descends into a bubbly, whirling series of tracks straight from the deep end, with just enough drive and tech-y taste without going too heavy on the BPMs. False Image does space-age sexy, while Ryan Murgatroyd & Kostakis pack a slow-cooking punch, alongside FreakMe's own bomb ("Breath"), while Jay Shepard and Martin Dawson throw some cowbell into their Blondish mix for good measure.

Thomas Gandey. But m.O.N.R.O.E. doesn’t stop there, he delivers four brand new exclusives. Among them is a bouncy house number titled ‘Shake’ by Anek & Medeew & Chicks Luv Us. This is just a glimpse into the compilation, a closer look will reveal more gems for this falls dancefloors.

Robbie Akbal and Aidan Lavelle take it from there with ‘Me Myself My 303’, an upbeat tech-house track with 303 synths and a nice organic groove. Moving on, Italian-based Retsu drops his fantastically dark ‘Sweet Happens!’; a beautifully manicured track that never oversteps its bounds, keeping the energy evolving and consistent. Get Physical Music Presents: Most Wanted 2015 Pt. 1 (Minimix)
14/08/2015 Duración: 20minOpen airs, festivals, afternoon grilling in the park… These are sure signs that summer has arrived, and we’ve got the right music for all of its activities! Once again we’ve collected all the tracks that made the first half of 2015 such a memorable time for Get Physical Music. On this edition of ‘Most Wanted’ we bring you tracks like ‘Spayce’ from super-boyband andhim, the beautiful dark vibes from M.A.N.D.Y.’s ‘Gizmo’. Piano virtuoso-cum-techno legend Francesco Tristano’s ‘Dminorloop’ sits nicely against the chill vibes of Jazzuelle & Lazarusman’s ‘Forget Me (Jazzuelle Darkside Mix)’. Of course the compilation wouldn’t be complete without a couple tracks from WhoMadeWho’s brilliant EP ‘Ember’, so we’ve included andhim's remix of 'There's A Way' and Sante’s fantastic remix to shake your booty when the sun goes down. All in all there’s something for everybody, just put the one of the continuous mixes to warm up for the festival or open air, or just to relax on the balcony with friends.

Get Physical Music Presents: Essential Vol. 10 - Mixed & Compiled by Bryan Kessler (Minimix)
17/07/2015 Duración: 13minAfter last year’s monumental breakthrough ‚New York, Baby‘ EP on Get Physical, Bryan Kessler returns to mix the tenth volume of the ‘Essentials’ compilation. Bryan Kessler has no problem digging deeper into the Get Physical catalog, pulling out gems like DJ T.’s ‘Gorilla Hug’ from his 2009 album ‘The Inner Jukebox’. Bryan takes us even further back to the very beginning with one of Get Physical’s very first releases, M.A.N.D.Y.’s 2003 track ‘Tonite’. Throughout the entire compilation you’ll find quite a diverse selection of tracks, from Nôze’s ‘Dance Avec Moi’ to Kris Wadsworth’s ‘Life and Death’ (from his debut album of the same name dropped in 2013). Kris actually makes a couple appearances on here, with ‘Girl Talk’ (Also form the album ‘Life and Death’) as well as his very first Get Physical Appearance ‘Det Sound (KW’s Move Dat Ass Remix)’. Kessler even borrows from sister-label Kindisch for the compilation, utilizing ‘Lunchbox’ from Delete A.K.A. Sergio Munoz.

Get Physical Music Presents: Words Don't Come Easy Pt. 2 (Minimix)
10/07/2015 Duración: 14minEarlier this year we introduced a new compilation series to reflect the uncanny nature of music and its ability to leave one speechless. ‘Words Don’t Come Easy’ was found to be the most fitting title for the compilation. Now, we’ve scoured through our catalog to being you a new set of tunes that possess the same magic. We open the compilation with Climbers’ 2013 “breakout” hit, ‘Equal Responsibility’ and its disco-house vibe and absolutely sunny vocal hook laid out over thick basslines and driving percussion. Immediately after comes Martin Ilkins’ ‘Loves Enemy’ to turn the energy up. DJ T. makes three appearances on this compilation with ‘Burning feat. Nick Maurer (art Department Remix), ‘Leavin’ Me feat Khan’ and ‘City Life feat Cari Golden (Maya Jane Coles Remix), all of which have their roots in his 2011 album ‘The Pleasure Principle’. Among the 13 amazing tracks found here is WhoMadeWho’s recent ‘Embers (Fran Seven Remix)’, Tiger Stripes’ ‘Runaways (Rey & Kjavik Remix) and more. So until next time,

Get Physical Music Presents: Hausmusik Vol. 2 (Minimix)
18/06/2015 Duración: 19minWe're all for professional sound systems and sweaty dance floors, but sometimes there's nothing quite like one's own living room and an intimate selection of people and music, is there? The compilation conceived for your private listening pleasure returns in the form of Hausmusik Vol. 2. For this second foray into the more complex interpretations of house music, Get Physical has called upon artists the likes of Holden, MKRNI and Francesco Tristano, which are just a few of the names on the 14-track joyride that takes us from Tristano's Japanese soundscapes to WhoMadeWho's dreamy vibes and Stepkids' pop-infused disco. What begins as laid-back and cinematic slowly makes an uplifting swerve towards vintage-leaning vocals on the last stretch, topped off by Chrom Sparks' wildlife-heavy nature glitches. An assortment of tracks as eclectic as it is inspiring; completely fit for closed doors and open ears.

Get Physical Music Presents: Ibiza 2015 by Tuccillo - Minimix
12/06/2015 Duración: 19minThe 2015 Ibiza season is officially underway, and we’ve been hard at work together with Get Physical regular Tuccillo preparing the perfect compilation for the occasion. 14 brand new tracks and 1 DJ mix should be enough to get any party started. Whether it’s the chill vibes of ‘Taired’ from newcomer Alci on the beach, or the late night burner ‘Adewale’ from Italian producer Yaya there’s definitely something for every situation you might find yourself in on the island this summer. Paolo Rocco and Physica deliver a straight house groove on top of classic techno sounds with ‘Nuttin To Worry About’ while Alex Dimou remixes and re-envisions last years ‘Love Won’t Wait’ (by John Monkman) as a slow-building after-hour delight. For the dancefloor, Tato provides ‘Lemon Groove’ to get the booty moving and David Jach moves in for the kill with ‘So Freak’. All of these Ibiza essentials are woven together beautifully by Tuccillo himself, perfect for the impromptu beach parties and after-hours when the club doors close.
