She talks about her plans after graduation and how she plans to attend Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. She talks about the importance of buying a yearbook and her experiences as a Spring Lake student over the years. This week, we release the first episode of 2022 and go to St. Augustine. Here, through the Bridge Connection, we talk to Juan, Sarah, and Sona. All of these students are artists and musicians. Though Lajla has many passions, her true passion lies within editing film, whether it be from fan edits to full-on documentaries. Mya has been participating in Grand Rapids’ branch of Skate for Change for five years, starting in eighth grade. Skate for Change is a network of skaters and students from Spring Lake High School - and all over the globe - who hand out necessary hygiene products and kits to people experiencing homelessness.
