For a year, Rachel has been dealing with her legs buckling, making her collapse at inopportune times. It got so bad this fall that she spent some time in a wheelchair. But there is apparent healing power in both physical therapy AND in a trip of a lifetime. After sponsoring a student in Ethiopia for over a year, Rachel was able to join a small group to meet in person. This is Rachel's experience through it all upon return from Ethiopia. Listen. Learn. Three years after her first interview with The Share Chair Podcast, Phoebe finds herself changed--and unchanged. This young woman has spent most of her high school life as a varsity 3-sport athlete, model student, survivor of her beloved father, and proud product of her mother, grandparents, and tight friends. Sometimes, there's just a group of students who act more as teachers than they do students: they teach us about the value of education, they teach us the difference between tolerance and acceptance, they teach us that the future is in good hands. Adam reminds us all that setbacks are not the end if we don't allow them to be. After getting cut from the freshman boys soccer team, Adam tried out for the cross country team. This year, he made it to the state meet. After getting cast in the high school musical production in his EIGHTH grade year, he assumed a speaking part would be easy his freshman year, but he landed in the chorus to train his voice and dancing chops. The setback, if we're to call it that, worked. He just landed a major role in this year's spring musical.

Caithlynn and Ilse are working through a their post-secondary education to become teacher assistants and, perhaps later, teachers. If you want to be inspired and reminded about the core foundation of what inspires a person to become an educator, one doesn't have to go beyond these two. Whether a teacher who needs reminding or a person inspired by motivated young people, these two share a beautiful vision for education in the future.

Julia tells us her important story of being caught with alcohol and the challenging aftermath--sitting out of the state track meet and missing half of her treasured cross country season. With her story, we can learn so much about how to bounce back and how to gain trust with the people we love the most. Julia's story is mirrored in so many teens; it's critical to share these stories for others to learn.

Sidra moved from Pakistan to Finland and, with that move, came changes for the better--and the challenging.
