Beer Space Nine

This week on Beer Space Nine Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek episodes The Lights of Zetar and Requiem for Methuselah. Brooke drinks a cheap beer and Barron drinks whisky and our sound problems are fixed!! We're honing in on the end of season three!

Welp, our sound issues are back. Sorry guys, we are working on it. And they only last for a few minutes in the beginning so stick with us!! We love you and WANT to sound good! Anywho, this week on Beer Space Nine Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek episodes The Mark of Gideon and That Which Survives. A couple of...interesting third season TOS episodes. We drink and laugh and get off track, so don't let a little bit of static thwart your listening desires!

We lied, we DID record an episode this week! Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek episodes Whom Gods Destroy and Let That Be Your Last Battlefield. Star Trek solves mental illness AND racism. Also, we've gotten rid of that weird buzzing noise from last week. We're not very electronically inclined here at Beer Space Nine.

This week on Beer Space Nine Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek episodes The Empath and Elaan of Troyius. Star Trek sure loves a torture episode. We both cheat and drink wine. And we both about there being no episode next week! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!!

This week Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek episodes Plato's Stepchildren and Wink of an Eye. We're back from a week off due to cold season! Thanks for sticking with us and our ramblings.

This is definitely not episode 31 no matter what Brooke says!! This week Brooke and Barron make up a drinking game for you all to play while discussing the classic Star Trek episodes For The World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky and The Tholian Web. Neither of us are sick this time, but we can't make any guarantees for next time!

This week both Brooke and Barron are under the weather, but they soldier on and review Spectre of the Gun and Day of the Dove. We have battles at the OK Corral and battle with the Klingons! They also try really hard not to give away any Star Trek Discovery spoilers!

This week Brooke and Barron get drunk on tiny Bota Boxes of wine while discussing the classic Star Trek episodes And The Children Shall Lead and Is There In Truth No Beauty? Amazingly the both don't hate And The Children Shall Lead. Watch out for the random Supernatural spoiler Barron throws out there (Brooke was spoiled), he likes to ruin things. 

This week Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek episodes The Enterprise Incident and The Paradise Syndrome. The Romulans are back! Also, this week Brooke has finally watched Star Trek Discovery and gives her run down of the show. Weird wine spritzers are drunk and a good time is had. 

This week Barron talks about the new show Star Trek Discovery (because Brooke forgot to watch it). Then they both discuss the classic Star Trek episodes Assignment: Earth and Spock's Brain. We are also experimenting with a brand new microphone, we'll see if it lasts. Brooke promises to give her take on Star Trek Discovery next week!

Last week Brooke and Barron were almost drowned out by fuzzy interference and we apologize!! Microphone issues. This week we are almost frowned out by the wind from Tropical Storm Jose. Needless to say we are getting a new microphone. This week we discuss the classic Star Trek episodes The Ultimate Computer and Bread and Circuses. Blackula and Ancient Rome!! Brooke gets drunker than usual and gets startled by a plant, and Barron stays the calm and reasonable, then gets startled by the same plant once the recording stops!! Come along for the ride. Almost done with season 2!!

Violating the Prime Directive abounds in this weeks episode of Beer Space Nine! Brooke and Barron discuss the Star Trek episodes By Any Other Name and The Omega Glory. 

Definitely episode 25 this time!! This week we discuss the classic Star Trek episodes Return to Tomorrow and Patterns of Force. Body Snatchers and Nazis!! We drink weird beer and weird whisky and get off the subject like champs!

This week Barron and Brooke discuss the classic Star Trek episodes The Immunity Syndrome and A Private Little War. And this is definitely NOT episode 25! No matter what Brooke says in the beginning. Never trust anything Brooke or Barron says! They don't know what they're talking about.

Join Barron and Brooke as the discuss the classic Star Trek episodes Gamesters of Triskellion and A Piece of the Action. Barron premiers a new inexpensive whisky and Brooke drinks another weird local beer. This one is a little shorter because we were in a hurry to go swimming. Ya gotta have priorities people!!

This week Brooke and Barron review a couple of classic Star Trek episodes: Wolf in the Fold and The Trouble With Tribbles. One episode deals with Scotty possibly being a murderer and the other deals with a bunch of furry squeaky toys taking over the Enterprise. Listen to our podcast to find out which is which!!

We're back after a week off!! This week Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek Episodes The Deadly Years and Obsession. This time we both like opposite episodes and have fun awkwardly arguing about it. We also manage to once again work Jeffrey Combs back into the conversation. We may be mildly obsessed with Jeffrey Combs. This week we BOTH drink beer!! Sam Summer, because it's summer!

This week Brooke and Barron discuss the classic Star Trek episodes Journey to Babel and Friday's Child. Listen as we drink beer and whisky and talk about how awesome Jeffrey Combs is! Once again we have trouble staying on the subject and we don't think we'll ever get better at that. We hope you enjoy listening as much as we enjoy talking!

This week Barron and Brooke discuss the classic Star Trek episodes I, Mudd and Metamorphosis. Brooke drinks some weird cider with a Donnie Darko label and Barron drinks water. We both love both episodes, for a change, and share many awkward pauses. Join us as we discuss sex robots and the merits of Dr Quinn Medicine Woman (listen and you'll get it). 

This week Barron and Brooke discuss the classic Star Trek episodes Doomsday Machine and Catspaw. Brooke accidentally calls the doomsday machine Galactus several times AND falls asleepy during Catspaw. Barron takes up the slack like the champ he is!! Listen as we BOTH awkwardly giggle for 45 minutes!
