Chatty Sisters Podcast

This week the Chatty Sisters find a way to make talking about stress and anxiety fun as they reminisce about panic attacks (or ones that turned out not to be) and some looking-back-now kind of silly things they've worried about in the past. What was Caroline's biggest decision of her high school career? Why does Kelly pee multiple times before bed? Find out the answers to these questions, what has the sisters worried these days, and maybe even a few tips for calming down in this 48th episode. 

The temperature is (slowly) rising here in New England and we've been seeing the sun a LITTLE bit more in April than we did in March. The Chatty Sisters are SO ready for spring and a fresh start and positivity and all the Trader Joe's tulips that they dedicated a whole podcast to it. This week, Kelly and Caroline are reviewing their goals that they set at the beginning of the year and setting the intention to come back to the ones that they lost a bit in March. (Can we all just agree March is the worst month of the year??) Turns out the Chatty Sisters have a lot of pet peeves!! In fact, they have to break them down into categories like: technology, work-related, inefficiency, grocery store occurrences, soo many driving pet peeves, and just people being overall stupid. Sorry, they're not sorry. This is basically one full hour of rants, but don't worry, they keep it light, funny and work some positivity in there too. Kelly and Caroline celebrate "home anniversaries" by discussing what makes a house a home, what they love about houses and future projects for their home. They reminisce about secret passageways, Caroline offers to redecorate Kelly's house with a limitless budget and Kelly continues to want someone to follow her around putting shit away. We are SUPER excited for this episode. Today, the Chatty Sisters are talking about what it feels like to be on the "CLIENT" side of their profession. Kelly, a Kindergartner and mom of two young children, discusses what it's like to be a parent of a kid in school. She talks about how it's changed how she teaches, tips for parents of Kindergarteners and more. Caroline, a wedding photographer, discusses what it's like to plan a wedding while having worked in the wedding industry for the last five+ years. She shares how it feels to be on the other side and how to plans to change how she communicates with her Bride & Grooms going forward. There is sooo much juicy info and thought provoking convo in this one, you won't want to miss it!!

The Chatty Sisters are BACK(!) after a brief hiatus due to travel and sickness. Today, Kelly and Caroline are talking about social media: what we like, what we hate, what medias we prefer and which ones we just don't really get. We also talk about our first experiences with social media, including the beloved AIM (aka where all romances began between the years 2001 and 2006). They even discuss the challenging topic of raising kids in a world dominated by social media. If there's one thing you should know about the Chatty Sisters, it's that they LOVE to travel! This week, Kelly & Caroline are chatting about how they plan trips. Everything from how they save money for trips to where they go to get ideas to how/where they book the trip! They apologize in advance for alllllll the Jack in the background. He's cute though, right? ....Right? 

The Chatty Sisters are *finally* diving in to Kelly's favorite topic: reading! The Sisters chat about their first memories of reading, where/when/how/why they read, their favorite genres, and some of Caroline's random questions regarding reading. Here's another one: why is "read" spelled the same in the past tense and present tense, but not pronounced the same? No wonder English is such a hard language to learn! Anyways, if you love to read, you'll love this episode and probably want to curl up with a good book once you're done!

The Chatty sisters are talking about texting: when they first remember texting, why they like it and whether or not they use periods when texting. Of course they also share many of their texting related pet peeves and they want to hear yours! Most importantly, please never respond to our texts with the word "ok." 

The Chatty Sisters are BACK with their first episode of 2017! This week, Kelly and Caroline are reviewing 2017 and talking 2018 "SMART" goals (lol. jk.). Synopsis: Kelly wants to keep her children alive another year and Caroline wants to maybe attempt to read a book and actually remember what it's called! Max makes an appearance (or two...) and will give you all a few laughs. He's tired of listening to the Chatty Sisters talk, but hopefully you guys are not!!

What's your love language? This week the Chatty Sisters took a quiz to see which love languages they value the most. They share their scores and how these love languages affect their current and past relationships. They bond and laugh over their mutual score of 2 on one of the languages. Can you guess which one it is? 

In honor of Caroline's 29th birthday, the Chatty Sisters are talking about birthday parties they loved as kids, feelings around turning 30, and bucket lists. Kelly & Caroline get sucked down another hole of all the places they want to travel to... everywhere from Hawaii & Alaska to Italy & Denmark. Caroline only needs to freeze time before she has kids to make this happen and.. well.. Kelly needs to go back in time?? Caroline thinks guys and girls can't be just friends, when it gets to a certain point. Kelly is all about guys and girls being friends. In the spirit of the upcoming holidays, the Chatty Sisters reminisce about family traditions they remember from childhood and how these traditions have changed and morphed into new ones over the years. For some unknown reason, they both recall the stairs at their great-grandmother's house in great detail, even though Kelly and Caroline were probably about 7 and 3 years old respectively. As usual, they laugh a lot... mostly at Caroline's confusion at the concept of a food drive and her undying love for tswift.. and how Kelly is so. loud. though. #extrovertproblems. For once, the Chatty Sisters have some true expert advice (thanks Caroline!) about managing digital photos. They chat about Caroline's #1 rule learned in photography school, why they think it's important to print photos and what companies they support. It wouldn't be a complete episode without Kelly's Stay at Home mom woes and Caroline questioning the next step in her career path.
