A play on the old Batman/Superman team ups, "World's Finest" takes the Scarlet Speedster to the CBS Universe (in more ways than one) to help the Kryptonian Heroine save the day. Trav talks about the great chemistry between the characters, some details on the differences between universes, and catches me up on the "Red Kryptonite/ Martian Manhunter" storyline that's been brewing. Anisah, along with members past and present, take us through the last few years of the event, the different themes, sponsors, and supporters that have helped to build their branch into what it is today. We find out what motivates these people to give their time, and exactly what goes into producing this overnight celebration. This week's Fan X Fan show went every which way, the majority of the time spent covering the first 7 episodes of the DCTVU's "Legends of Tomorrow". Last week's episode went into the motivations of each character, but this week, we go blow for blow with our time traveling supers. We talk similarities to "Star Trek", "Star Wars", "Sliders" and "Quantum Leap", as well as where we think the show may be headed for it's 2nd half (thanks Wikipedia!) It's something of a spring break, as we'll have a three week gap before the next new episode of 'The Flash'. Our tastes are pretty different, except when they aren't, so I thought it'd be a great a idea to discuss our favorite movies, shows, music and books from this year. As we're both getting a bit long in the tooth, some of the things discussed are gems from previous years we didn't discover until late! Concerning movies talk about the greatness that was "Ant-Man", "Jurassic Park" and "Avengers 2" being good not great, and how Avatar ended up personally costing my a lot of money.
