Jordan, Cara, and guest Jenna Zee continue spooky October with The Addams Family (1991), a movie that could have been cheesy but is held together by an incredible cast and great cinematography. Plus, Jordan and Cara get to continue the Christina Ricci love-fest that started with Casper!

Through the lens of three Little Pete-centric episodes, they discuss the Petes Wrigley, the familiar landscapes of Wellsville, and the jam packed cast of weirdos, bullies, and adults.

In episode seven, Allie Polan-Clarke joins us to watch the 1987 children’s video King Cole’s Party. We learn that it is hard to watch a video for toddlers for fun as an adult because as it turns out, it’s not fun! Hear us delve into all the different levels of bad acting and creepy characters and, as a special bonus, Cara tells us how to entertain babies even if you don’t like kids.

Cara and Jordan talk to Sophie about the 1989 animated film The Little Mermaid. They discuss their deep emotional ties to the movie, the pitfalls of the Disney princess genre, and wonder why Disney decided to change so many details from the original Hans Christian Anderson text.

Jordan and Cara talk to Zack DeZon about the classic Nicktoon Ren and Stimpy, a show that Cara describes as "an animated version of hairy gak" and that two out of three of us weren't really allowed to watch as children.
