His new book The Final Girl Support Group” is being adapted as a forthcoming series, his previous, the New York Times Best Selling novel The Southern Book Club’s Guide to Slaying Vampires, was optioned for series adaptation by Amazon Studios following a ten buyer bidding war. There’s a lot more, he’s the author of the Bram Stoker Award-winning nonfiction book, Paperbacks from Hell, a history of the horror paperback boom of the ’70s and ’80s. I know few authors who are as literate on their own genre, it’s truly humbling.

The film is set in a small English village at the turn of the 20th century.
