On Nov. 2, 2007, 21-year-old British exchange student Meredith Kercher was found dead on the floor of her bedroom in Perugia, Italy, partially clothed with her throat cut. On 21 October 1966 a giant pile of coal spoil dumped on the side of a hill overlooking the Welsh village of Aberfan collapsed during heavy rain causing a massive coal slurry wave 40ft tall to pour down the hill destroying everything in its path including the Plantglas Junior School. The Blitz or Blitzkrieg targeted all important industrial cities in the UK with thousands of tonnes of bombs raining down on civilians for 9 months, day and night, none stop, resulting in 43,000 fatalities.
