    22/11/2015

This month we fulfil a promise to Toyvault and play their new “Firefly” board game, “Fistful of Credits”, and we also spoke with Jocelyn Fischer, Executive Producer of the new fan film, “Shadows on the Wind”. We are pleased to say that John Mullaney (Serenity cutaway artist) and Gareth Cooper (writer and singer of “It’s Not About Politics”) joined us to play “Fistful of Credits” and talk about what they’re up to. Lastly, Odile bids us a fond farewell as real life affirms itself.

  • Show 132 The One From CSTS London

    25/10/2015

Odile and Wendy make it to a 2015 CSTS event! We had such plans for this year, Odile was hoping to get to Edinburgh, Wendy had planned to attend Beeston, but unfortunately, life got in the way and the only one we were able to attend was the London event in early October.

  • Show 131 The One With Shadows

    13/09/2015

Welcome to the September show! We say "good-bye" to summer by speaking with writer, Justin Fischer, about the forthcoming new "Firefly" fan film, "Shadows on the Wind”. With the next UK CSTS event in early October in London, Wendy spoke with Sue from CSTS London about what they have in store for attendees this year. We also speak about a possible UK Browncoat Shindig run along similar themes to the US Brownout Ball in 2016, and we give a shout-out to friend of the podcast, John Mullaney, about his full 15 minute short film about his work on the new "Alien: The Weyland-Yutani Report Collector's Edition" book from Insight Editions.

  • Show 130 The One from Two Continents

    17/08/2015

Welcome to the August show! We have a nice bundle for you all to listen to this month! We spoke with Laura and Sylvain from Browncoats France about their CSTS event on 10 October and while Odile was away in France Wendy did two other interviews! The first one is with Nyssa of the 28th Fighting Swans, Grande Prairie, Alberta in Canada about their preparations for their CSTS event for 2015. The second one is with the Toyvault team behind their new "Firefly" board game, A Fist Full of Credits. We think this will be a great way to either kick off or add to any shindig due to its fairly short game play. Once the game is available at your local gaming/science-fiction/convention dealer outlet - let us know what you think.

  • Show 129 The One Mostly From Down Under

    12/07/2015

Welcome to the July show and I'm back from my travels, and Odile is finishing her school year! Wendy had a simply marvellous time meeting Browncoats in at the Supanova Sydney Comic Con and we will hear from Jen Cummings from the New Melbourne Browncoats and CSTS as well as from Kirsty from the Adelaide Browncoats. She also spoke with Kerry at Shipper Haven about her fab "Castle"/"Serenity" tee shirt, as well as her other tees. Finally we also spoke with Graeme from the Edinburgh Browncoats about their upcoming CSTS screening. As always, we hope you will enjoy the show and if you do, you can leave comments here or on our Facebook page or Twitter.

  • Show 128 The Shortest Show Ever!

    20/05/2015

In the almost nine years we have been available this is, most definitely, our shortest show to date! Congratulations to the PDX Browncoats and Mike Dougherty for their successful Indiegogo campaign as well as thanks to everyone who supported them.

  • May Bonus Show The One About "Con Man"

    04/05/2015

May the fourth be with you! Five words for you: Alan Tudyk and PJ Haarsma. We are very grateful to them to take some time out while location scouting to speak with us about "Con Man", how cons have changed, one of the largest shopping malls in England, fans in Dubai, smoothies and artisan cheese.

  • Bonus April Show The One About the PDX Browncoats and the Ariel Ambulance

    29/04/2015

April! As you are going to hear Odile say, "What is April without an Easter egg?" and here's ours! We hope that you have not missed this, but if you have, the PDX Browncoats needs our help with raising funds to bring the Ariel Ambulance to Portland this summer.
