One Good Thing

This week the Pauls tackle THE WORST FILM OF ALL TIME – Josh Trank's Fant4stic – and are let down by its inability to be completely irredeemable. They recorded an incredible show based on this premise but it was changed at the last minute by podcasting execs because it was too funny – but that's life for you. Here are some good things about it instead. Featuring: the importance of family, some very good names, the so-called Kate Mara, Toby Kebbel star of Dead Man's Shoes and Josh Trank's trusty Hollywood tent.

One Paul has a head cold, the other struggles to perfect one four-syllable name: what better time for such a combination than a bumper episode about intergalactic clusterflip Jupiter Ascending? The two Pauls ask WHY, WHY GOD, WHY, and what's the one good thing about this film you crazy kids? Featuring: Channing Tatum, Spiro Chanyu, Channing Flatum, Channing Statham, Christopher Nalken, and of course, the inimitable Chanding.

This week the Pauls learn the TRUTH about Christianity thanks to 100% accurate documentary The Devil Inside, realising in the process that everything they ever knew was wrong, the church is a bureaucratic nightmare, mental illness and demonic possession are interchangeable and yet there may be more than one good thing about this film that everybody hates. Featuring: jump scares, Krishnan-Guru Murthy's exorcism racket, every horror film that one Paul has ever seen and DEMONIC TRANSFERENCE, MICHAEL.

This week the Pauls talk about Equilibrium, The Matrix, Inception, Rogue One, Goldeneye and also Assassin's Creed in an attempt to do the thing of the show they do. Can they do it? Featuring: the return of Jeremy Irons, videogame nostalgia, Marion Cotillard's secret shame and not anger – just disappointment.

This week the Pauls run afoul of Christopher Walken and are forced to find the one good thing about Nine Lives before their bodies are trapped forever in the body of a terrible film. Featuring: Rob Lowe, Werner Herzog and the innards of world-renowned stage actor Kevin Spacey.

This week the two Pauls swipe the coin cups from two small orphans and watch the worst Christmas movie ever made in the hopes that they'll find some Christmas cheer! But just find coal. This episode features: struggling with a foreign name, overestimating the work that goes into some hand animation and a guest appearance from Mr. Tom Hardy himself.

This week the two Pauls call on witnesses Bruce Wayne, Clark Kent and Laurence Fishburne as they ask: what was the one good thing about DC's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice? Contains spoilers and an audio problem so minor it was resolved by my fourth word.
