Linda Pomranky is a Bigfoot researcher who founded the Michigan Sasquatch Experience. She's been researching them for 3 or 4 years now. What sparked her interest in Sasquatch was a class-A sighting she had, while she was in middle high school. Tonight's guest, Mike Smith, describes himself as being a life-long outdoorsman and has travelled all over the country. He's lived in and experienced the outdoors in North Carolina, Tennessee, Kentucky, Virginia, Indiana, West Virginia, New York, Florida, Alabama, and Georgia. Douglas Hickernell was driving home, late one night, in 2006, on Highway 199, in Grant's Pass, Oregon, when something happened that he never thought would happen. When he got to the spot, on Highway 199, where Monkey Creek empties into the Smith River, he had the road all to himself. That is, there weren't any other vehicles in sight. While there might not have been any other vehicles in sight there, that night, he wasn't alone. As he would soon find out, a massive, 5-foot wide Sasquatch was on the road with him there. Tonight's guest, Drew, earns extra money by harvesting timber, in the Oregon backwoods, in the wintertime. Besides being hard work that required long hours, it wasn't a bad job. Not long ago, though, Drew began to notice a change in the forest where he works. He used to hear the sounds of wildlife, all around him, when he was there, working. Not long ago, those forest fell quiet. There were no vocalizations from squirrels, birds, or any of the other animals that called that forest home. She used to take her dogs for walks in the woods on her property and spend so much time back there, just hanging out, that she wore paths.
