Outdated References

We have a 4 person show this week with Russ, Adam, Coral, and myself, as we have our weekly show discussions about "Star Trek Discovery" Season 3, Episode 4: "Forget me Not" & "The Mandalorian" Season 2, Episode 2, "The Passenger." Per our show format, before we get into the meat of the episode, we catch up on each other's lives, talk about games we've been playing, comic books that we should be reading, and have fun chats that tangents into a cool discussion about whatever. This week's it's about Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask, Legend of Korra, and why we never actually learned about actual world history. We are at full capacity with this week's show. Coral, Adam, Russ, Jeremy and me not only talk about "Star Trek Discovery: People of Earth" and "The Mandalorian: The Marshal," we ended up chatting about art supplies and art techniques. Oh and DuckTales! Find the Canadian actor, Irish Tayto crisps are awesome and Adam and I chat about the new "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Last Ronin." We're all over the place as usual, but it's an extra long episode so I hope you enjoy yourself.  --Nathan  

This week, Adam, Russ, Coral, Jeremy and I talked about Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Episode 2 “Far From Home” with life’s little anecdote. Of course, since not everyone watched “Lovecraft Country,” we decided to do a one off spoiler chat after the main show. So, hopefully, there’s a little something for everyone. --Nathan

This week is a three person show with Coral, Adam and myself, Nathan. We chat about webcomics, comics and eventually we just have  a nice long discussion about Star Trek Discovery Season 3 Episode 1, "That Hope is You" and fun theories. I'm so happy that we are finally watching some really fun episodes of Star Trek Disco.  --Nathan

Hi guys! I'll be quick...  Adam is trying to speedrun Super Mario Bros 2, Russ and Adam discuss episode 7 of "The Boys" and we finally get on topic and have a spoiler cast about "Star Trek Lower Decks" episode 8 & 9: Veritas & Crisis Point. It's good. So damn good.  -Nathan  

Sports Talk, Politics Talk, Science Talk, Family talk, basically a personal episode because Russ and Coral didn’t watch Star Trek Lower Decks. Also, what do you call it when the collective has rose color glasses for Mario 64 but you literally have zero nostalgia for this groundbreaking classic? I don't know but it's an interesting episode. Expect more Star Trek Lower Decks episodes as we rush to catch up, because I want to move onto Discovery Season 3. We're Outdated References, but I don't want us to be too outdated. --Nathan 

We are a full crew today with Adam, Russ, Coral, and myself as we catch up on Star Trek Lower Deck discussion, since we skipped the topic only to focus only on Mulan chat, last week. But before we get into a long discussion, Adam discovered the new Planet of the Apes films and it's kind of funny to see him realized he missed out on really good science fiction. It's a fun show and I hope you enjoy it! --Nathan    

This week, I want to say a big howdy to our newest member, Coral as we have round table discussion about Disney's newest live action remake, Mulan. Love it or hate it, many valid points were brought up and I'm super proud of this episode, even though it was plagued with technical issues. Yeah, this is why it took so long to edit. Sorry y'all. Any ways, Star Trek Lower Deck talks have been placed on stand by for next episode and we discuss why Colm Meany should have been the father as Miles O'Brien and Rosalind Choa as Keiko in the Outdated References holodeck production of "Molly."  Come On you know you want to see that! --Nathan  

This week we talk about the sad passing of Chadwick Boseman’s and eventually we get on track and talk about Star Trek Lower Deck episode 3, Temporal Edict and episode 4, Moist Vessel. This week, it's a three man show with Russ, Adam and myself, Nathan, chatting about the justification of expensive Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGA) retro home consoles, Adam and I argue over which console (SNES or PS1) sound reigns supreme,, World or Warcraft is freaking old, we also learned that none of us have ever heard the album version of Dire Straights "Money For Nothing," and we talk our thoughts about the new CBS show, "Star Trek: Lower Decks." --Nathan

We discuss a question about which boxer would win if both of them were at their prime? More Doom Patrol Spoiler talk, plus Watchman opinions and Stargirl fanboying. Also, I'm personally enjoying Adam's journey of catching up with Community.  --Nathan

This week we are grumpy old gamers who talk about the joys of CRT televisions and to the rest of our friends, sorry not sorry, I’m wearing a mask around you. We are still proselytizing “Doom Patrol” to anyone who still hasn’t been watching this fun show! Then we proceed to convince each other what new shows we need to watch, so a lot of tv talk this week, and turkeys talk, toy collecting, and a bonus extended chat at the end of this week’s episode. Wow. --Nathan   

This week we just complain about everything! Covid-19 still sucks, but at least we chatted about video games, martial arts, and some general DC TV Love. It's a short and sweet episode this week.  Check us out!   --Nathan     

This week Russ, Adam, and I (Nathan) chatted on about 80-90s G.I. Joes toys and which Cobra Viper is our favorite, then we end up talking about more television, which lead to us chatting about some of our favorite Star Trek Deep Space Nine episodes, that lead to us reminiscing about the Star Trek Experience. We also caught up on gaming news after taking June off. We touch on about the Xbox Series X, PS5 and if backwards compatibility makes sense. Does life like graphics makes sense anymore? Also the Nintendo Switch controllers are still trash. Also, more television talk! God, I love Schitt’s Creek. And Doom Patrol… And Hamilton… --Nathan  

New Episode! Well sort. We recorded this episode back in June when society is slowly starting to open, mass protests, and television. This week it's a two man show with Russ and Nathan. We chat about loss, Russ' love of "Overwatch," Nathan's Arcade Monitor, and then television like "What We Do in the Shadows," "Venture Brothers" and "Rick and Morty." So yeah, it's another hodgepodge show about nerd shit. Sweet.  --Nathan 

We caught up on TV so this week we actually talked about video gaming, mainly Nintendo gaming. Adam finally got around to playing some Breath of the Wild and we discuss some outdated topics like a new Paper Mario and 3D Super Mario releases.  --Nathan
