Greg and Jenius kick off 2019 with an episode devoted to the recent Carpenterfest 3 held at the Screenland Armour. They are joined by Ty from the Who the Hell is This For podcast and they talk Assault on Precinct 13, Prince of Darkness, and In the Mouth of Madness!

We here at Horrorversary aren't exactly sticklers when it comes to following regular rules of convention. So, it only made sense if the last episode of 2018, was also effectively the first episode of 2019. Luckily there's a very famous horror film that just so happens to straddle the line of being able to celebrate anniversaries in either year. A film that premiered at Cannes, in 1978. Released theatrically in Italy, in 1978. Only then to have its US release in 1979. It's George Romero's Dawn of the Dead! Plus, Deirdre Crimmins joins the show to discuss all things zombies.

What better way to help put a cap on this first season, than exploring a "cult classic" that deserves to be seen by as wide an audience as possible. It's a weird film, but totally emblematic of the DIY (theatrical) horror scene of the 80's. That's right, we're talking 1988's Scarecrows.  Better yet, we wrangled none other than Rob Hunter, to help us get into the nitty gritty of what makes this film special.

It's the start of our "End of the Year Blowout Extravaganza"! A quick 3-part end of the year series to put a cap on our 1st season. David Daut gets invited in to take a stab at discussing the foreign "new classic" from 2008, Let The Right One In. There's bad vampire puns, talk of CG cats and what makes a solid remake. Enjoy!

Sometimes audio falls through the cracks. Be it an editing issue, or time issue or act of god, this episode has been trying to get out since September.
