Nia Nal has been searching for an ancient source of Naltorian dream energy. She loses her powers to a hooded robed figure while in a nightmare involving Iris and goes to Central City for help. Iris realizes that her article on the Red Death is the Pulitzer-winning article from the map book, and questions if she's following destiny instead of making her own choices. After Nia and Iris get pulled into a dream, Nia helps Iris realize that destiny is not one choice, but the result of a lifetime of several choices. Iris helps Nia realize that to increase her potential, she needs to give up control. After doing so, Nia meets the spirit of the first Naltorian with dream abilities, who promises to teach her. They wake, and Iris publishes her article. Meanwhile, Mark takes Khione out to do activities that he did with Frost, ignoring all of Khione's ideas. The Titan hides amid shipwrecks in the Chin'toka battlespace. Geordi works against Lore's persona to restore Data's dominance of the android's mind. Worf and Raffi take La Sirena out on another intelligence mission. Seven tries to contact her former crewmate Tuvok. The respondent passes Seven's first trust test, but fails her second, revealing himself to be a Changeling and leaving the real Tuvok's fate ambiguous. Picard, surmising that the Changelings are using his corpse to target Starfleet's anniversary festivities, devises and enacts a plan to trap Vadic and her crew on the Titan with force fields, using Jack, who is developing telepathy, and Sidney as bait. Picard and Beverly interrogate Vadic in the trap. Vadic reveals she was one of ten Changelings whom Starfleet doctors torturously experimented on to develop a breed of super-spies; upon their escape, she swore revenge and formed the rogue Changeling faction, taking her torturer's form. Bo-Katan, Din Djarin and Grogu set out for the idyllic planet Plazir-15, where Bo-Katan's former army, now led by Axe Woves, have set themselves up as mercenaries. Before they can meet them, they are involuntarily diverted by the planet's rulers, Captain Bombardier and the Duchess, who ask for their help in neutralizing several repurposed but malfunctioning Imperial and Separatist droids. After stopping a rogue droid, Bo-Katan and Djarin follow its trail to The Resistor, a droid bar, and convince its bartender and clientele to help them. They find out that the droids were sabotaged through nanodroids in the bar's maintenance fluid, which were covertly imported by Commissioner Helgait, head of the planetary Security Office. Confronted, Helgait reveals himself as a Separatist before Bo-Katan knocks him out, and he is exiled. Suspecting that the attack is a prelude to a new rise of the Empire, Teva informs Colonel Tuttle. But when Tuttle shows indifference, he tracks down the Mandalorian covert and asks Din Djarin for help. Djarin convinces the covert to come to Karga's aid despite their prior confrontations with him, and Bo-Katan assumes command of the attack force. As the Mandalorians overcome the pirates, Vane flees, Shard is killed, and the remaining ones are detained. The Mandalorians are welcomed back by Karga and the people, and move back into their old enclave. The Armorer meets with Bo-Katan, acknowledging the Mythosaur's reappearance as an omen that Bo-Katan is the one who can reunite all Mandalorians, and bids her to remove her helmet to symbolize this new position. The away team is confronted by the sapient holodeck version of Professor James Moriarty, and discovers that a Soong-type android containing the memories of Data, B-4, Lal, Lore, and Altan Soong, is at the heart of Daystrom and also contains the projects database they are looking for. Grogu wins a training match, but his opponent, Ragnar Vizsla, is captured by a large pterosaur. Bo-Katan gathers a hunting party, which includes Djarin and Ragnar's father, Paz Vizsla, and leads them to the raptor's nest. The Armorer forges a new piece of Mandalorian armor for Grogu, a rondel bearing Djarin's mudhorn sigil. As she works, Grogu has visions of his rescue from the burning Jedi Temple by Jedi Master Kelleran Beq and sympathetic members of the Naboo Armed Forces. Vizsla's over-eagerness to save Ragnar disrupts Bo-Katan's plan and leads to a difficult aerial rescue in which Bo-Katan and Djarin rescue the boy unharmed, killing the pterosaur, collecting its chicks, and earning the clan's respect. With only a few encrypted data scraps recovered in the raid, Echo rejoins the Bad Batch on Pabu. In Mount Tantiss (the transport's destination), Crosshair is interrogated by Hemlock about the whereabouts of the Batch, specifically Omega. He escapes in an inattended moment and sends a warning to his former comrades before being recaptured and subjected to more intense torture. Shaw contacts Starfleet, who promptly send the USS Intrepid to intercept them and take Picard and Riker into custody. The Starfleet officer heading the security team is Ro Laren, who betrayed Starfleet years earlier by defecting to the Maquis, but returned after her imprisonment. Beverly conducts the impostor's autopsy, discovering the Changelings have evolved to hold their shape longer and evade body scanning technology, and notifies Picard, but Ro dragoons him into the holodeck. Ro suspects the Changeling conspiracy compromised Starfleet's highest levels and both Intrepid and Titan. Picard realizes he still trusts her. They reconcile, before Ro gives Picard her earring. Cecile and Allegra work to prove her innocence, but Rebecca is kidnapped by people with dark matter refractors that deflect Allegra's and Cecile's abilities enough for Cecile to miss her train to Joe's and worry about being far from Jenna, but Allegra consoles her. They realize that Dominic's brother Tony embedded a Dark Matter refractor in Rebecca's engagement ring in order to reverse her luck ability and extort her job as a dealer in order to pay off his gambling debts. Cecile telekinetically removes Rebecca's ring, destroying the refractor while leaving Tony and his minions for Kramer. Meanwhile, Mark is convinced that Khione has powers, believing that they're what woke him and that they're all that's left of Frost. After Djarin recovers, he and Bo-Katan depart Mandalore, though Bo-Katan withholds the Mythosaur's existence from him. Upon returning to Kalevala, they are attacked by Imperial TIE squads, who destroy Bo-Katan's home, and are forced to retreat to the secret Mandalorian enclave. Djarin presents the Armorer with a sample of the Living Waters as proof of his redemption, and because she has also bathed in the Waters, Bo-Katan is welcomed to the enclave as well. On Coruscant, Dr. Pershing receives a pardon by the New Republic, but is startled to find Elia Kane among the amnesty program's recipients. Kane declares to assist Pershing in his efforts to continue his cloning research, which has been outlawed by the Republic. Vadic contacts her superiors, who tell her to pursue the Titan at all costs, leading to her dumping the unwieldy portal technology. The Titan is too damaged to run both propulsion and life support for a few more hours. Riker admits Picard was right and suggests that he spend his last moments bonding with Jack in the holodeck. Picard and Jack tell each other some of their adventures, but are joined by Shaw, who bitterly recounts his experiences as an engineer during Starfleet's battle with Locutus. Riker orders Seven to keep searching for the Changeling impostor, with Shaw's help. The anomaly starts discharging energy pulses. Beverly monitors the timing, and conjectures that the anomaly is actually a space creature about to give birth. Riker, Beverly, and Picard form a highly risky plan to harness the energy pulses for recharging the ship's systems and ride them out of the nebula, and enlist Shaw and Seven's help in successfully executing it. Din Djarin visits Peli Motto on Tatooine during the Boonta Eve festival in search of a new memory chip for IG-11. She does not have one, but instead sells him R5-D4. Djarin, Grogu and R5 fly to Mandalore and Djarin orders R5 to scout ahead and ensure that the atmosphere is non-toxic. When R5 does not return, Djarin ventures after it and is attacked by several Alamites, a native troll-like species living in the caves. Heading deeper into the mines, Djarin is captured by a cyborg creature and sends Grogu for Bo-Katan's help. Katan rescues Djarin and kills the cyborg before leading Djarin to the Living Waters. Djarin begins to recite the creed to restore himself as a Mandalorian; however, a sudden drop off causes him to sink deep into the water. The Armorer and group of Mandalorians hold a ceremony to induct a young child into the tribe. The ceremony is interrupted when a Dinosaur Turtle attacks the Mandalorians. They fight back, but are soon overpowered. Din Djarin arrives, killing the creature with his starfighter and revealing that Grogu has chosen to stay with him.[a] The Armorer confirms that if the mines of Mandalore still exist, Djarin may become a Mandalorian once more. Djarin travels to Nevarro to meet Greef Karga who is now the High Magistrate. Djarin helps Karga stop a group of pirates led by Vane who have been attacking citizens and schools on Nevarro. Karga offers Djarin the newly vacated position of marshal, but Djarin refuses, stating that he came to rebuild IG-11. Djarin successfully revives IG-11, but the droid defaults to his original, violent programming. Djarin brings his parts to a group of Anzellan mechanics, who tell him that they need a new memory core to fully repair the droid. As Djarin leaves Nevarro, the pirate crew led by

The Shrike attacks the Titan, injuring Shaw who transfers command to Riker. Beverly explains that she did not tell Picard about Jack to keep their son safe from assassination attempts. The Titan attempts to escape the nebula but is cornered by the Shrike using portal technology. Picard advises Riker to lure the Shrike into a trap, but Riker wants to flee and prioritize saving the crew. Jack and Seven deduce that Vadic is tracking a gas leak on the Titan and find an ensign sabotaging the ship. He is revealed to be a Changeling and escapes their custody. Raffi and Worf capture a criminal that they believe is responsible for the attack on M'talas Prime. They discover that he is also a Changeling, part of a group that has been fighting the Federation since the end of the Dominion War, and realize that the attack was just a distraction. Convinced by Picard's insistence that they fight back, Riker fires on the Shrike. Their weapons are redirected back at them with a portal and the Titan sustains heavy damag

Doctor Royce Hemlock travels to an Imperial facility on Mount Tantiss to meet Nala Se. He tries to persuade her into taking part in the Emperor's cloning projects, but she refuses. Meanwhile, a covert transport bound for Mt. Tantiss ends up stranded, and Cid assigns the Bad Batch to recover its cargo. While exploring the wreck, they discover that the "cargo" is an immature Zillo Beast secretly cloned away from Kamino to serve as a living armament resource. An Imperial strike force is sent to recover the Beast and capture all nearby witnesses, forcing the Bad Batch to retreat. Shortly after, Lama Su is brought to Mt. Tantiss to persuade Nala Se to cooperate. Roy Bivolo and the speedster (now calling herself the Red Death) capture Barry and cause a citywide blackout. While imprisoned, Barry learns that Red Death's speed is artificial and tells Mark that it isn't too late to come back from his mistakes. Ryan goes to Iris, but Iris realizes that she is Red Death. Ryan reveals that she is from an alternate timeline where she and Flash became enemies. After being rejected from the Speed Force, she landed in Iris's timeline and wants to use the Cosmic Treadmill to return home and use Iris as bait for her timeline's Flash. Red Death brings Iris to her hideout and threatens her life in order to coerce Barry into powering the treadmill, causing a lightning storm. Mark sabotages the treadmill and is beaten by the Rogues while Team Flash evacuates Barry and Iris. The Rogues (Mercer, Wozzeck, and new recruit Michelle Amar / Murmur) steal a temporal scanner from Corbin Taft Industries. Barry realizes that they're trying to build a Cosmic Treadmill, but will need a vibration engine, and assembles Hartley, Mark, Jaco Birch, and Goldface to steal it before the Rogues can. They decide to do the mission without him until Barry agrees to trust and compensate them. He does so, but Mark betrays the group and reveals his allegiance to the Rogues in exchange for Frost's resurrection. The Rogues intercept Barry's group while the speedster temporarily disables his speed and escapes with the engine and the Rogues. Meanwhile, Khione tries to convince Allegra to stop avoiding Chester. Iris worries that the speedster is the new avatar for the Negative Speed Force. Hartley, Jaco, and Goldface agree to continue assisting Team Flash.
