Vs The Net

This week Mat, Lewis, and Jack talk about cutting the cord and breaking away from cable. Lewis is once again late, so Jack interviews Mason about Silk Road closing and his future career plans. The guys say cunt a bunch of times, then finally start talking about the topic. Mat interrupts Jack's reading of the Wikipedia page with 90's wrestling slogans. They all agree that cable companies are horrible and Jack tries to make saying cunt funny again.

This week Mat, Lewis, and Jack try to talk about the life simulator Second Life. The three try to talk about Second Life even though they don't really know much about it. Is meeting, and having friends online the same as in real life? Dicks on parade! Jimmy Carr did a stand up show in the game. Mat watched a documentary about it. And then other shit happens. 

This week the Mat, Jack, and Lewis are all back together to talk about Fantasy Football. Mat and Jack try to explain Fantasy Football to Lewis. They talk about how it has changed they way people think about football. Jack reads a list of the best team names. They compare it to Dungeons And Dragons. Then the guys are joined by an old sports statistics expert, Thaddeus Buford, who answers fan questions and helps Jack set his lineup.

This week, Mat, Jack and Eric Younglove talk about online lists from Cracked and Buzzfeed.Mat finally got engaged. Jack wants to commit suicide because his parents had a Renaissance themed wedding. They all help him create a program to help others write suicide notes. They all think Buzzfeed is dumb and that Cracked is better. Cracked had an article about tips for preparing to get engaged so Eric helps him. Jack hates Cracked writer Gladstone . . . a lot. Then Claude Pickens drops in to share a list of his own. 

This week Mat and Lewis are joined by Jordan Holmes, and explore why people overreact to things online. Jack is away again this time at a monster truck rally, so comedian Jordan Holmes steps in. They talk about why people complain online about things that they can never change, is it good or bad? Should fan reaction have any influence in the creative process in entertainment?  Plus Mat gets a little sad at the end. 

This week Mat, and Lewis talk beauty gurus with special guest Jocelyn Hulme.While Jack is off mud wrestling, Mat, and Lewis are joined by comedian and friend, and beauty guru junky Jocelyn Hulme. They discuss whether or not beauty gurus are sending a negative message to young girls. Does it make them less trust worthy if they are getting products for free?  Also they try to decide if Batman is cute or handsome. 

This week, Mat, Lewis, and Jack talk kickstarter.DJ Rebel Rod stops in to pitch some of his newest projects. The guys debate whether celebrities should use the site. They play an exciting game of Funded or Not Funded, and follow that up with another round of Try To Get Mat To Say The N-Word. Then, they preview an exclusive semi-erotic scene from the upcoming Veronica Mars movie. 

This week, Mat, Lewis, and Jack talk email.The Ghost of Claude Pickens stops by to talk about his failed attempt at getting to the live show. Mat wanted to be Satan’s Spawn in high school. Jack also had a dumb email address. Mat messed with email scammers. Then, they played a rousing game of Spam or No Spam. 

Mat, Lewis and Jack talk Bronies live at the Ashbary Coffee House in Willow Springs.Mat is very sweaty because he ran to his car from some reason. Lewis has watched My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, but didn’t really care for it. They all think Bronies are kind of weird. Jack reads a psychological study which researched Bronies. This week, Lewis and Jack talk about Online Advertising with comedian Eric Younglove.They help Eric flesh out the script for his space cobbler movie and work on selling it to Asylum Studios. Lewis uses AdBlocker and is ruining the internet, but sort of feels bad about it. Jack advertises for his job. And they help promote MC Younglove's new hit rap single.Also, people submitted thoughtful questions for once! 

While Mat is away at San Diego Comic-Con, Jack and Lewis are joined by standup comedian and creator of the original Mat & Lewis Vs The Internet theme song Ryan Budds. We talk about his walk on role in Sharknado, how he got it, and then started working as a PA for Asylum. Also, we make him sing about Wikipedia a lot. This week Mat’s not here so we are joined by Bear once again. We talk about the NSA being fucking assholes. Until Jack’s internet goes out again. Then Bear tests my that’s so Raven Knowledge and we forget to do questions.

Lewis and Mat talk about 3d printing. Jack shows up intermittently because his internet was punishing him. Also interviews with special guests The Internet and Rabbi IDunna.
