Tonight's episode of YKY is 2014's Nightcrawler. Starring Jake Gyllenhaal , Rene Russo and directed by Dan Gilroy. It is a dark film about a real go-getter. Is it a film about the evils of TV News, Capitalism, voyeurism or the can do attitude of America? I'll let you decide. (Hint: Good timing on BroJo's part)

Tonight's episode is bittersweet. The film brought by the new guy Chris is 1994's Barcelona. Is it a thoughtful and clever slice of life movie, a side splitting hilarious laugh out loud riot, or...not so good? This one runs the gambit of emotions. Why bittersweet you ask? This is BroJo's last episode for a while. WoJo is moving forward with her drumming career and Brad has a "project" he is focused on. Won't be the same without the biting sarcasm but YKY must roll on.

Join the gang tonight in the past, present and future as they discuss Time Travel Movies. Chris joins us again and is added as a YKY regular to offer his movie insights. Since we all felt that Back to the Future was about the most perfect Time Travel film ever made, we all agreed to skip that selection. Starring Peter O'Toole, in an Oscar nominated performance, in which he plays Alan Swan, an Errol Flynn type movie star who is a guest on King Kaiser's Comedy Cavalcade, a1950's sketch show. O'Toole shines in this light and breezy comedy. Will he do the show? Will Boss Rojack stop the broadcast? Will Benji Stone get the girl? Will Alan Swan stay sober? It sure was fun to find out. You want to smile...this is the film.

Tonight's episode of YKY turns into a fiery debate. What film caused this? 2020's Oscar contender best picture, Promising Young Woman. Starring Carey Mulligan in an Oscar nominated performance and directed by Oscar nominated director Emerald Fennell. Is it a dark comedy, a revenge thriller or just a statement about "nice guys"? Kenny is a former mob associate who wore a wire for the FBI against the Colombo family for eight years. Kenji says Donnie Brasco best illustrates the life he lived in the mob. On this episode of YKY we discuss Wojo’s pick, 1994’s The Shawshank Redemption. One of the best adaptations of a Stephen King novel. Did not do a huge box office at the time of its release but a film that has turned into a classic and tops most best film lists. Starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman and directed by Frank Darabont. Is there anything new to be learned about this movie? Watch and find out.

Tonight's episode of YKY is a deep dive into the 2019 Independent film, 3 Day Weekend. Joining the gang in the discussion is the film's writer and Director Wyatt McDill and his wife, who also happened to be the producer, Megan Huber. This is a film that is an intricate puzzle where you have to pay attention to every little detail due to it's very scarce dialogue. It's great to hear the perspective of the creators who built the puzzle. Hopefully the conversation will get more eyes on this unique movie.

Tonight on YKY we go old school after several episodes of Movie Showdown. We talk about one movie, Drew's pick, 2017's Wind River starring Jeremy Renner, Elisabeth Olsen and Graham Greene. Directed by Taylor Sheridan, this murder mystery is set in an Indian reservation in the freezing weather of Wyoming, it's a quiet film with great performances and amazing scenery. It has tense action scenes and a powerful message.

Tonight's episode of YKY Movie Showdown is the Vampire genre. This one opened a huge library of Vampire themed movies. A great discussion ensures. This week it's Ralph and Sean VS last week's winner John. So many to choose from and so little time...before the sun rises. Watch and enjoy.
