A cast of unknowns, who are all musicians, Dublin locations and a great soundtrack, make for an enjoyable film. Watch and listen...there may even be some singing. So get ready to tap your feet.

Based on your feedback we're trying something different with tonight's show. Since the avg. view time is 10 minutes, (Other than our parents) this show is 10 minutes long. fter last week's horror buffet tonight's episode, voted on by the gang, is the perfect choice keeping with the spirit of Halloween. It's Drew's pick of 2005's The Descent. This scarefest was directed by Neil Marshall, starts strong and never lets up. If you like your horror dark, tense, relentless and surprising...you will love this one. One thing to watch for...no real caves were used in the production of this film, oh and "crawlers". BOO!

Get ready for a "what are you watching" recommendation show. Tonight the 3rd Q Steve joins the Q brothers to add his recommendation from his unique perspective. In this Covid universe binge watching programs have been a huge part of us all keeping our sanity. So listen and see if it peaks any interest for something to watch. The lights are low and the air is filled with ghosts and ghouls on our Halloween themed show.. Tonight the gang each has a scary recommendation of an "off the beaten path" scary movie. Scary but not as well known as some of the terror classics like Halloween and Psycho. Which one will they choose for next week's show? Have you seen any of these? Will you watch based on our recommendation? Who knows...and that's the scary part.

Tonight the gang discusses another early 70's film, 1971's Klute. A gritty and bleak film that includes Jane Fonda's Academy award winning performance as a call girl embroiled in murder. Co-starring Donald Sutherland as the private eye trying to solve the case while getting played by Fonda's Bree Daniels. If you like dark and atmospheric...Klute is for you. But is it for the group? Tonight John and Ralph bring another Q into the Q den. Steve Quattrucci joins the podcast to discuss Young Frankenstein, Jaws and growing up Q. It's an interesting discussion of what it was like growing up back then compared to now and the challenges of raising kids in an ever changing world. Ah the simpler times. A Hospital, what is it? It's a big building with beds" and it's the movie the gang discusses tonight. The 1971 dark comedy The Hospital featuring an Oscar nominated performance by George C. Scott and Diana Rigg's American film debut. The film was written by Paddy Chayefsky who amongst others wrote Marty and Network. Interesting conversation around this, more dark than comedy, movie. Today's episode is a sports themed extravaganza. The Q boys discuss their favorite sport movies and some hidden gems you may enjoy. They also get into their experiences at Red Sox fantasy camp. They went three times and every experience was a unique one. Join us for the conversation. Play ball!

Tonight's show features what is considered the greatest American Movie musical of all time, 1952's Singing in the Rain. Starring Gene Kelly, Donald O'Connor, Debbie Rerynolds and Jean Hagen it is a feel good joyous movie that features great music, dancing and a great comedic story. It was John's pick so he invited his 27 year old niece, who is a huge fan of the movie, to offer a millennials perspective. Considering several of the gang had never seen it, should be interesting discussion. Now...GOTTA DANCE!!

Well, we enjoyed the first one so much we decided to do it again. Episode 2 of "Cue it up with the Q brothers''. Last week was about the start of the YippeeKiYay Mother podcast. This week's episode gets a bit more in depth into our individual backgrounds and the career choices we made that have shaped who we are. It still has the movie flavor but with a more personal touch. After a week layoff the gang is ready to get back into the groove. We discuss Brad's pick, 1984's classic "mocumentry" This is Spinal Tap. Directed by Rob Reiner and starring Michael McKean, Christopher Guest and Harry Shearer, who with Reiner wrote the "script". A completely improvised rockumentry about the loudest english metal band touring the US. It may not be the first, but it set the standard for future fake documentaries. Great music, great cameos and great movie quotes. This one went to Eleven!

Well tonight something completely different. After a last minute cancellation of the Spinal Tap podcast, Ralph and John decided to do one anyway. It's not like our schedules are full. The show must go on so join John and Ralph for a special edition called..."Cue it up with the Q brothers" a conversation between two brothers. It includes a little personal background info, how the podcast got started, man crushes, lady crushes and a whole lot of movie talk. Enjoy and feedback is always welcome. Tonight the gang discusses the 1996 Indie film Spitfire Grill. Debbie picked tonight's movie and works hard to explain why she chose it. A movie that's part Northern Exposure and a typical film you may find on Lifetime or Hallmark channel, goes a long way to explaining the group's reaction and hostility towards the film...including from Debbie. The best part is the discussion on what would have made it better. Enjoy the banter...and the fake Maine accents.

Tonight the gang takes a look at the coming of age drama, 2012's Mud directed by Jeff Nichols and starring Mathew McConaughey, Tye Sheridan, Reese Witherspoon and Sam Shepard. Drew's pick is a tough one to explain, part Stand by Me and part Sling Blade. Beautifully shot at locations in Arkansas seldom seen in movies. Great character piece and surprise, surprise, McConaughey does remove his shirt...his lucky shirt. Also at the end another cult classic recommendation by Al.

Dr. Frankenstein. No, it's Fronkensteen." With those words the gang discusses 1974's classic comedy Young Frankenstein. Directed by Mel Brooks and starring a cast of comedy superstars including Gene Wilder who starred, created and co-wrote the script. This film had such an impact on so many people that today's podcast has some special guests who wanted to participate. So watch or listen to find out how many quotes are given. Does Ralph and John's brother Steve ever show up? Will there be trivia and will the questions be tough? Will Drew get parole? So enjoy and walk this way...no no, this way.

Today the gang stumbles into alternate timelines with the 1998 German film Run Lola Run. Directed and scored at a frenetic pace by Tom Tykwer and starring Franka Potente as Lola. It's a film with a lot of running, twisted timelines, fate, predetermination, love and even three different endings. A lot to talk about including super powers and DNA molecules. (Don't ask) Stay till the end for a hilarious "after credits" scene featuring a special guest star. Did we mention the running?
