12/05/2019C&C is branching out. To better reflect its parent website, [Mixed Signals](http://mixedsignals.ml), the show will now cover not just lore but also open gaming in general. This is partly to buy time required for researching in-depth lore episodes, but also because it can be difficult to _not_ talk about game mechanics when talking about the lore around a game. In this episode, Klaatu takes a look at the [3 Pillar XP](http://dnd.wizards.com/articles/unearthed-arcana/3pillarxp) system developed by Wizards of the Coast for D&D 5e. The idea for this new system is to better reward players for exploration and social interaction, and not just combat. Download a cheat sheet for this system at [mixedsignals.ml/games/blog /blog_noncombat-xp](http://mixedsignals.ml/games/blog/blog_noncombat-xp). shasum -a256=1032a7d0fa9f250dfed94f45bf2d9ab57385bb2150f7f4f1b01c2825d98e5f9e
