The reason we know this to be true is because suicides are the number one killer of people in America, and drug use is the second biggest killer above car accidents. This is the fruits of many flaws in thinking. It seems as if the people teaching about mental health neglect to consider mystical solutions and therefore only see half the picture. We live in a world that is primarily spiritual. I have always been confused on why this isn’t spoken about more, but it seems that the people teaching spirituality aren’t actually teaching spirituality. They seem to be doing another version of a motivational pep talk rather than tackling the challenge head on.
