Sinopsis

We're an actual-play D&D podcast, based on a homebrew campaign setting. Join us to follow the adventures of Tara, Finn, Paxton, and Aethelflaed in a strange world sealed inside glass. You can find more details at facebook.com/talesfromtheglassguarded world, or at tftggw.libsyn.com.

Episodios

  • TFTGGW Soundtrack: Zartok's Theme

    11/07/2020 Duración: 03min

We're on our between-season break, so this week's release is Zartok's theme. I wish it had occurred to me to give each character a theme at the very beginning of the podcast. I only started doing it with Aethelflaed.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • Crash Pandas

    04/07/2020 Duración: 01h03min

Brace yourself, as this is probably the most ridiculous one-shot we will ever play. Special thanks to Jessica for daring to be the GM.  We're still on our between-season break. After this we'll be releasing  music for a few weeks, and then we'll have a multi-part Pathfinder 2E one-shot!  Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • TFTGGW Soundtrack: Puttin' Berks in the Deadbook

    27/06/2020 Duración: 07min

We're on our between-season break, so this week's release is some music from Episode 62, inspired by the classic CRPG Planescape: Torment.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • TFTGGW Soundtrack: Demonic Combat

    20/06/2020 Duración: 06min

We're on our between-season break, so this week's release is some music from Episodes 59 and 60. This is a mix of the various themes used during combat with the Tanar'ri (a.k.a. demons). Mike doesn't actually play guitar, so don't be too harsh.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • TFTGGW Soundtrack: The Glass-Guarded World Theme - Metal Version

    20/06/2020 Duración: 54s

As a bonus release this week, we have the metal version of the theme song that released with Episode 59. We think it's pretty cool, but it would have been cooler if one of us had been able to play guitar well enough to have a killer solo, instead of resorting to a synth solo.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • Lasers and Feelings - Part 1?

    13/06/2020 Duración: 01h40min

This is the first of several one-shots we're releasing during our inter-season break. It's Lasers and Feelings, the well-known one-page RPG! This is probably the funniest thing we've done, and definitely the stupidest. We've been sitting on this for a long time, and we're excited that you finally get to hear it! Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • TFTGGW Soundtrack: The Intellect Devourer (Music from Episode 54)

    06/06/2020 Duración: 07min

We're on our between-season break, so this week's release is some music from Episode 54. It's the very weird music from Tara's encounter with the Intellect Devourer that very nearly ate her brain. We were going to release a one-shot this week, but in light of current events, we decided to postpone it. We don't want it to get lost in the quickly-developing news, and we don't feel comfortable trying to promote it heavily. This is not the time to take attention from important events. Maybe next week? Maybe not. We'll see. Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • TFTGGW Soundtrack: Blob Mob in the Loo (Music from Episode 52)

    30/05/2020 Duración: 04min

We're on our between-season break, so this week's release is some music from Episode 52. This is the combat music for the fight in the bathroom with the black pudding. Poor Aster got clobbered! I like this song because it only took 6 instruments. That's what's nice about synthesizers (as opposed to orchestral instruments): they fill a lot of space with very little work. The orchestral songs can easily take 20 to 30 instrument tracks.  We should have a one-shot coming out next week, so keep updating the podcast feed! Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • TFTGGW Soundtrack: Administrative Hell Hounds (Music from Episode 49)

    23/05/2020 Duración: 06min

We're on our between-season break, so this week's release is some music from Episode 49. Note that around 1:35 the music that would become Tara's theme appears for the first time. You'll find it repeated in a lot of subsequent combat music.  We should have a one-shot coming out in the next couple weeks, so keep updating the podcast feed! Be sure to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com or send us an email!

  • Season 2 Question and Answer

    16/05/2020 Duración: 01h42min

This will be the last new episode for a while, as we take a break between seasons. We'll be releasing music, and occasionally you might get a surprise one-shot session.  You can still let us know if you have questions, or contact us on Twitter or Facebook, or via email.  Thanks for listening, and we'll be back as soon as we can--but that might be a few months! https://twitter.com/Shubertweet https://www.youtube.com/user/ShubertCVGC

    09/05/2020 Duración: 01h15min

  • Episode 90 - Strethok the Necromancer

    02/05/2020 Duración: 01h18min

The party has finally reached the bottom of the ruined wizard research complex. The Department of Integration is run by Strethok the Necromancer, who is presumably the villain behind the heroes' troubles, right?  This episode has some amazing art from Shaunmakes, so be sure to check it out on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter! You can also find it and other art at our website, tftggw.com. Episode 91 is the season 2 finale. Send us an email to get those end-of-season questions in!

  • Episode 89 - Bathroom Magic

    25/04/2020 Duración: 01h20min

With only two floors left to investigate, the heroes move down to the Department of Transmutation and have a look around.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com. Episode 91 is the season 2 finale. Send us an email to get those end-of-season questions in!

  • Episode 88 - Necromanswers

    18/04/2020 Duración: 37min

The victorious heroes finish up the rest of the Department of Necromancy, talk to the skeleton crew, and are reminded of the dangers of regenerating monsters. It's fun for everyone! Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter! Check out our website at tftggw.com. Send us an email to get those end-of-season questions in!

  • Episode 87 - Heroes versus a Large Pile of Meat

    11/04/2020 Duración: 01h47min

Brace yourselves for almost two hours of brutal combat! The heroes of World 83 (plus Zartok) search Necrotic Storage for the undead creature known as the Necrosorb, which has been accidentally set free.  They find it! Or rather, it finds them.  Check out the original artwork of the battle from Shaunmakes on Twitter or Facebook, or on our site at tftggw.com! Send us an email to get those end-of-season questions in!

  • Episode 86 - The Skeleton Crew

    04/04/2020 Duración: 01h16min

Yes, this is the episode in which we...thank? "Thank" isn't the right word. This is the episode in which we...ungraciously mock the kind, generous people who reviewed our podcast online.  You could suffer the same goofy fate if you review our podcast on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher, or somewhere else!  The party finally leaves the Department of Illusion behind, reaching the Department of Necromancy.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter, or send us an email! Check out our website at tftggw.com!

  • Send in your questions for the conclusion of Season 2!

    30/03/2020 Duración: 01min

We're nearly at the end of Season 2 of Tales from the Glass-Guarded World! Please send in your questions for a Q&A episode, either through Facebook or Twitter, or send us an email! Thanks for listening!

  • Episode 85 - The Trap Lap

    28/03/2020 Duración: 01h07min

The heroes haven't learned their lesson, and insist on exploring every inch of the Department of Illusion before moving on.  It doesn't go well.  Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter, or send us an email! Check out our website at tftggw.com!

  • Episode 84 - Illusionary Completionists vs Blingo and the Camel Thing

    21/03/2020 Duración: 01h17min

The party continues exploring the Department of Illusion, hoping that there's some valuable loot stashed around here somewhere. Those greyed-out areas on the map are so hard to ignore! Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter, or send us an email! Check out our website at tftggw.com!

  • Episode 83 - Oh Drow Where Art Thou

    14/03/2020 Duración: 01h05min

The party concludes its combat with the Fleshpokers and says its farewells to Speelock and the Gemtakers. Now it's time to explore the rest of the Department of Illusion, which must be full of treasure, right?  We're joined again this week by Shaun from The House of Bob Podcast and Shaunmakes.com! Be sure to follow us on Facebook or Twitter, or send us an email! Check out our website at tftggw.com!
