Grab your bunny ears, your pig snout, or strap a horse hair tail to your ass and listen in because we're diving deep into the first episode of the second season of the Starz original Heels - Ten Bell Salute. We have so many questions about Jack, Ace, Wild Bill and Willie that we can't wait to have answered, but until then we'll speculate away, like we do. TW - this episode contains a lot of talk about suicide and loss.

The first televised King of the Ring is a pillar of the WWF New Generation PPVs, or at least we think so. Listen in for some hot (lukewarm?) takes of the 90's wrestling shenanagins that transpired at KOTR '93 including three awesome Bret Hart matches, and the death of Hulkamania in the 90s at the hands of Yokozuna. 

This week its all about hyping up King of the Ring on the June 5th 1993 episode of Superstars and the June 7th 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw. We have a new Intercontinental Champ Shawn Michaels who has a new very tall bodyguard, a King's Court with Jerry Lawler interviewing Yokozuna and Mr. Fuji, and some fun tag action featuring Billy Gunn and Ric Steiner vs. Fatu and IRS.

This week we see Intercontinental Champ Marty Jannetty defend his title against Bam Bam, with Sherry and Luna in their sides. We also get some more monetary offers from Razor Ramon to The 123 Kid for a rematch. 

We're in the throws of the Razor Ramon/123 Kid rivalry while trying to count Doinks. This episode goes on a lot of tangents so listen in to our thoughts on Adam Bomb, Vince McMahon, and what WWF silliness might be insensitive by today's standards.

This is the Monday Night Raw we've been waiting for! Razor Ramon gets pinned by the "Kid" and Marty Jannetty returns in disguise to challenge Shawn Michaels for the Intercontinental title. We see the debut of the Smoking Gunns and a couple King of the Ring qualifying matches. And is the the last we'll see of Giant Gonzales? Not sure but we do know that anything can happen in the World Wrestling Federation.

This week we see a 6 man tag with Money Inc and Mr. Hughes vs. The Nasties and Kamala, and two KOTR Qualifying matches. The real draw is the street fight between Shawn Michaels and Mr. Perfect that results in Fink's caddy being damaged, and the lumberjack match to follow.

We've got your King of the Ring qualifying match between Mr. Perfect and Doing, some Headshrinkers action ft. Captain Lou Albano, and a heated Intercontinental title match between Hacksaw Jim Duggan and HBK that ends in a one-man protest. Oh and in case you forgot, Hulk Hogan is still the champion.

We're watching the April 24, 1993 episode of WWF Superstars and the April 26, 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw, with our new commentator Bobby Heenan! We see Crush, Lex Luger, Mr. Perfect, The Steiner Brothers, Shawn Michaels, Typhoon and more in action but the real draw is the public wedding proposal that happens as the main event during Monday Night Raw. We also get to see into the Wrestlemania Brunch and the attack heard around the world when Lex Luger attacked then WWF Champion Bret Hart with his metal forearm.

This week on Shoots n' Ladders (A 90's wrestling podcast) Pat and Jen argue about how boring or exciting the featured content was and discuss matches such as Owen Hart vs. Bam Bam Bigelow ft. an unfortunate injury, Razor Ramon vs. Virgil, and Money Inc. vs. The Beverly Brother for the tag titles. We also get some fun interviews and promos with Bret Hart, Luna Vachon and more. Come for the Slim Jims and stay for the ICOPRO.

Friar Ferguson and Mr. Hughes enter the chat this week on the April 12, 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw and the April 10, 1993 episode of WWF Superstars. There's a fun match between Scott Steiner and IRS, as well as the first unofficial impromptu bra and panties match between Sensational Sherri and Luna Vachon. We go off on a real tangent about how many gimmicks and occupations exist in the roster in WWF/E 1993 and who would win the battle of Macho-ness between Macho Man Randy Savage and the oozer of machismo Razor Ramon.

We banter about future feuds that we're excited about, misophonia, and the April 3, 1993 episode of Superstars and the April 5, 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw featuring Macho Man, Jerry Lawler, Bob Backlund, the Steiner Brothers, Tatanka, Bam Bam Bigelow, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Lex Luger and more. 

What is there to say about Wrestlemania 9... not too much that hasn't been said before but we're going there anyway. Come along and prepare to be disappointed by the Undertaker Giant Gonzales match, Hulk Hogan's unexpected WWF title win, Bret Hart's loss to Yokozuna, and Tatanka's strange victory against Shawn Michaels. At  least we get some Luna Vachon.

We're getting hyped up for the impending Wrestlemania 9 with the March 27 1993 episode of WWF Superstars and a special March 28 1993 March to Wrestlemania. Jack Tunney even shows his face at the contract signing between Yokozuna and Bret Hart that ends disastrously. We also see in action Macho Man, Money Inc, Mr. Perfect, Tatanka and more as we gear up and get thankful for WM9 to finally happen.

It's the week before the week before Wrestlemania 9, and we hope you've called your local cable providers because you do NOT want to miss the opportunity to witness Hulk Hogan's return with the Mega Maniacs, or Bret Hart defend his championship against Yokozuna. We watch the March 20, 1993 episode of Superstars and the March 22, 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw and see some ridiculous promos - including a Lex Luger and Mr. Perfect mirror-off... a couple of ridiculous matches (including the return of The Bushwackers)... and a whole lot of jobber matches. You're not gonna want to miss this.

The week we continue to travel down the long road to Wrestlemania 9 and watch a bunch of matches and promos featuring Tatanka, Yokozuna, Crush, Papa Shango, Bob Backlund, The Nasty Boys, The Headshrinkers, Lex Luger, Hulk Hogan and more.

This week our word is WHY as we drag our feet down the long road to Wrestlemania 9 and cover the March 6, 1993 episode of Superstars and the March 8, 1993 episode of Raw. We discuss the shenanigans from Superstars such as Lex Luger, Mr. Perfect, Rick Martel, The Steiner Brothers, The Mega Maniacs, Bret Hart and Tatanka. We also question the claim that the beefcase was filled with 100 lbs of steel, or perhaps multiple bricks. 

This week we're talking about the February 27, 1993 episode of WWF Superstars and the March 1, 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw featuring Horrible Elvis. We see Bret Hart defend his belt against Fatu, Doink destroy Koko B Ware and Big Boss Man, and appearances from your friends Lex Luger, Yokozuna and The Steiner Brothers. We're traveling right down that road to Wrestlemania, one jobber match at a time.

This week we talk about the February 20, 1993 episode of Superstars of Wrestling and the February 22, 1993 episode of Monday Night Raw - where we get treated to the return of a deflated Hulk Hogan as he supports his bionic friend Brutus the Barber Beefcake and brings Jimmy Hart into the newly formed Mega Maniacs. Other than that it's squash match central, but we have fun. This is fun.

This week is a doozy, we have lots of Giant Gonzales sightings, Tatanka remains undefeated in his non-title match with Shawn Michaels, a wild interview with Brutus the Barber Beefcake and Vince McMahon, a 16 man Battle Royal that goes into the crowd, and a savage beating of Brutus' face by IRS.
