Movies You Should See

Are you troubled by strange sounds in the middle of the night? I am, but I'm blaming the dog.

Remember when we all thought Firefly was the best thing that ever happened? That really stood the tet of time didn't it.

For a while this was the best we had. Nobody had heard of the Iron Man or the Captain of Ameria.

Is this the last great Christopher Nolan film? We don't discuss that at all in this episode. It was recorded sometime in 2005, probably just after Batman came out. My point is, we didn't know then what we know now, and even now I'm not saying it was the last great Christopher Nolan film. I'm just waffling now.

This guy went on to become James Bond. Sadly I'm talking about the guy in the movie, not the guy writing the shownotes for this episode.

I remember loving this movie, and watching it many times. That said, I haven't seen it since we recorded this review. I think that's true for many of the films we talked about.

Revisiting this very old podcast, recorded many years ago, it concearns me what little I remember. There was a time I could have told you where we were when we recorded this episode, what time of day it was, and what I got from the takeaway that night. I can't keep feeling old if I'm going to keep posting these.Anyway, this was the first Bond film we ever reviewed. It was my favourite then, and it still is now. We'd never heard of Daniel Craig at the time. 

So as we struggled with the idea of what a podcast was supposed to be, we decided to talk about Star Trek. 

I'll be honest, I haven't seen this film since we did this podcast. I wasn't really keen on it at the time, and the passing of years has not been kind. Perhaps I'm just old and miserable now. Perhaps it isn't all that good.
