  • Hourless Life 2021

    09/12/2021 Duración: 01h26min

#106 Having previous guests like Eric and Brittany of Hourless Life return in this 2.0 version of the podcast, is proving to be humbling, as much as it’s a warm reuniting of overland friends. Eric, Brittany and their son Caspian have been traveling full-time since 2014. Openly providing all of us their unique perspective that only six years of full-time overland travel and experience provides. Currently on their first leg, of what's expected to be a 10 - 15 year overlanding trip around the world, you might be surprised by their slow, immersive approach to such an epic overland trip. In this episode you will learn from their six years of experience, along with other fun details about their new Jeep Gladiator; why you should consider riveting your license plates to your bumpers, and how full-time overlanding; is life. You might notice we’ve added a couple deeply meaningful questions for our guests. This deeper dive into core values, is to provide you a richer perspective from those who have (as Eric wisley ad

  • Girl Gone Glamping 2021

    03/12/2021 Duración: 01h01min

#105 An impactful interview with Lindsey of Girl Gone Glamping.Lindsey has been an inspiration for us over the last couple years, and we could not be more grateful for having the opportunity to connect with her a second time. Back in episodes 87 & 88, we met Lindsey as she passed through Portland in late spring of 2019. Lindsey now has a new rig that we talk about, along with a great story of selling her previous setup. Most impressionable within this episode is the true character that shines through of a woman traveling on the road, running her own business and living an intentional life, her style. Lindsey is genuine, open, and on-point with her advice for those with aspirations to travel while experiencing a life of overlanding adventure! An episode worth saving, if nothing else but to listen to the first 34 seconds on repeat every time you need that push of positive inspiration. The opening is exactly why we have found such meaningful inspiration with Lindsey, and that’s only the First 34 seconds! In t

  • This Big Road Trip

    25/11/2021 Duración: 01h38min

Claire and James of “This Big Road Trip” took the time to chat with us back in April of 2020. Clearly, much has taken place in twenty months...Yes, just short of 2 years ago! Just as COVID reared its ugly mug. Days and weeks prior to many of our worlds being turned inside out. This interview is PACKED with such valuable information! Information based on years of experience. Claire and James are originally from the UK, but moved to live in BC, Canada in 2006. Claire is a family physician, while James is an Endurance Athlete/Sport Coach with a focus on Ironman distance triathlon racing. They left Canada on January 1st of 2018 to start what they thought would be a three year round the world trip, driving from Canada to Patagonia, then shipping to South Africa and driving to Europe, through the Middle East, The Stans, Russia, China, Mongolia, SE Asia and Australia. As many original overlanding plans go, that original plan went out the window, now traveling overland for two years and four months at the time we t

    18/11/2021 Duración: 27min

A sweet return overflowing with gratitude and emotion. Returning to a project we love doing is beyond any words we can find. An episode we’ve been looking forward to recording, an episode with raw emotion that we contemplated editing to remove some uncomfortable personal moments. Ultimately deciding that exposing who we are, the emotion behind successfully fighting through our battles in life, maybe, just maybe will inspire you, or at least provide you a tiny example that all of us can fight through our challenges in life to ultimately reach the doors of our dreams. The passion that drives the GHT Overland Podcast is sharing the stories and experiences of others. This episode is an uncomfortable exposure of our past challenges, while taking time to express gratitude to a few cherished people we’ve met along the way, who inspired us, while more importantly, kept our dreams from escaping into a dark lost world of “somedays”.For those being held down by the obligations of life, for those who have a dream of overl
