Release date: 21.12.2012 Description: Malcom X is the result of a pretty smooth deep tech production that flow quite nicely thanks to some atmospheric hums in the background and a smooth as silk baseline. Brodanse's remix is a a completely different shape, thanks to some hard hitting break beats, and a very innovative stabbing baseline. The track shows some melodic aspects, when one feels that a dirty approach would have been preferred due to the nice drum patterns. The driving baseline used in the 2nd half of the track does something to help the matter though. Lazy Acid adds a little acid to the release with some nice acid riffs that ride over a super baseline that subtly keeps the track grooving. Pretty solid work from Alex Deep as they deliver a very intense piece of tech house. Horatio is the same old guy who still loves the oldschool and likes to twist and turn the original samples until u get that oldschool feeling.

Born in 1991 in Victoria, a small city from Roumania, Trippy Soul under the real name Matusoiu Alexandru discovered his passion for music at a early age.He listened to hip-hop and rap and by the age of 14 he discovered the electronic music. Three years later he start to produce music, and at 18, the first release came out under the name "Smoke Dj". In the next period he collaborate with labels such Amazing Music, Elegant Bit, Medicine Musique, Dot One Records and many others.His tracks was remixed by Steve Nash, Ben Tax, Sven Roesch, Einklang music & others. In 2012 he started a much more dark project called "Trippy Soul", focused on the deep underground area of electronic music. The first release came out in January 2012 at Sonora Records with a remix from Valeria Karter. For the love of electronic music and underground side, Trippy Soul story will move forward.

The originals are a heavy dose of jackin' rhythms that control the pressure while pulsating synth stabs breath through the mix as another melody creeps in and injects a edge of funk into the mix.Proceedings strip back as an incessant vocal cut eases through before cranking back up to full strength complete with ride hats,distorting delayed fx and cut up vocal sample to boot. Martinez & Alex Celler are just the fresh fruits from this beautifull cake that Natural Rhythm gives to it's followers. After a long wellknown names which have collaborated with the label the time has come for Jay Tripwire to descend uppon on the shinning path to new era. Natural Rhythm will be making their first appearance at Sankeys, and in enlisting Horatio to headline, they’ve declared a bolshy and lustful opening gambit. The larger than life eastern European is reflective of the company, with a legacy that stretches from the erstwhile grooves of super group Ar:Pi:Ar to the monolithic presence of Bucharest club du jour Kristal. Since exploding onto European notoriety with his sex-drenched remix of Riva Starr’s ‘When I Was Drunk’, Horatio has hit the dance music fraternity with a bevy of pounding beats.
