Both Hank and Paul have been fans of Warcraft for a long time. From the silly game that revolutionized real-time strategy to the perfect storm that World of Warcraft was, Blizzard has consistently put out great products with the franchise name that takes a special blend of half-serious, self-aware look at a high fantasy setting of "Orcs & Humans". But what if these stories are taken from the small computer monitor to the big screen? How will it be?...

We should have just called the the “Game of the Year 2015 Edition” because that’s basically all we talk about. But like, really in depth. For three hours.

Not a whole lot happened in our lives this week but luckily we were able to coerce Izzy Nobre (fellow #YYC dweller to Paul) to spend some of his time before bed talking about video games, Star Wars, Magic: The Gathering and what gaming was like in Brazil!

Games came out! Paul has been playing way more Fallout 4 than it probably deserves while Hank decides to check out the final part of the Starcraft II trilogy “Legacy of the Void”. In unfortunate news, Paul saw Pixels (yeah, that shitty Adam Sandler movie) and it broke him. Hank, meanwhile, saw the new James Bond movie “Spectre” and wasn’t too impressed. Also, Duelyst is a great game! You should check it out!

It’s been over a month. Can you ever forgive us? What if we talk for about 5 hours straight of literally everything worth talking about that has happened in the last month? In this phat with the “p” “h” episode, Hank talks about games like Super Mario Maker, Shovel Knight, Transformers: Devestation and Persona 4: Dancing All Night while Paul discusses the finer points of Secret Ponchos, Jotun, Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide and Devilian. Oh, also we spoiler talk The Beginner’s Guide, SOMA and Until Dawn so when those come up, be warned. Hank saw a shitload of movies such as Peace Officer, Pay the Ghost, The Martian, Pan and Bone Tomahawk amongst others. We talk a lot about those too. Also, random tangents, Paul gets upset about Undertale and Beast Wars/Mighty Max toys are all things that happen in this amazing edition of the podcast! Enjoy!

In a time where local multiplayer death match games run rampant, Landon Podbielski releases a smooth playing “one shot, one kill” game featuring loads of different weapons, maps and (of course) a dedicated quack button. Duck Game has been one of the funnest multiplayer games we’ve had the pleasure to spend hours on recently and we are humbled to be able to steal some of Landon’s time to discuss the development of Duck Game and bombard him with great ideas to add to his games!

While not much variety happened in our small hiatus, some big releases came out and we’ve been playing a whole lot of them. While Lara Croft GO and Crossy Road: PacMan edition have been tossed around, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has taken up way more time than anything else this week, only trumped recently but Super Mario Maker on the WiiU. So yeah, we talk a lot about that stuff. Also, Show Me A Hero is a good HBO watch while Roseanne stays on Paul’s chart for now.

Taking some time off really backed up the media consumption train! Hank has been playing a but more Magic Duels, catching up on Tales from the Borderlands episode 1 to 4 and some Dragon Age Inquisition DLC.  Both Hank and Paul play some Skyforge together and discuss the finer points of robot fighting in Rising Thunder. Paul really enjoys Whiplash while Hank hates the new Fantastic Four movie and goes to see a bunch of new films including Straight Outta Compton. Also, BartKira is a weird and wonderful project.

The big news this week is Life is Strange episode 4. We discuss how we feel about it thus far but leave the spoiler talk to the spoiler podcast we did earlier. Hank has been getting back into Magic: The Gathering with Magic Duels and playing 5-sided Tetris rip-off Spaera while finding some time to see Mission: Impossible Rogue Nation. Also, Dungeons and Dragons is still a great time!

WARNING: THIS DISCUSSION WILL SPOIL ALMOST EVERYTHING WORTH EXPERIENCING FIRST-HAND IN LIFE IS STRANGE.  After the events of the emotional rollercoaster that Life is Strange is and to prepare for the final episode, we get together to form a sort of "support group" to discuss what has happened in the game so far for each of us and what we think might happen in Episode 5. Hank loves playing as Tembo the Badass Elephant while Paul loses his life to Terraria. Yeah. Really. Also, would you eat human meat?

With little interest in the games released this week, Hank decides to go see a whole bunch of movies including Ant Man, A Hard Day and Court. Paul gets enthralled with the television show Fresh Off The Boat and plays Earthbound for the first time in memory of Iwata. Also, Rocket League is still good!

Not a whole lot going on this week, so we brought in some guests to help us out! Joining us this week are Dani (@danistiel) and her visiting friend Ash (@ZetsubouNikki) to shoot the shit about visiting Canada, poutine and cowboys! Paul has been playing a bunch of crappy games like NotGTAV, Girlfriend Rescue and Gender Bender DNA Twister Extreme while Hank has been enjoying more Rocket League, jumps into the new Heroes of the Storm content and does some Trackmania 2 Stadium demo! Also, we dish about what the Calgary Stampede is REALLY all about…

Hank has been spending most of his time this week playing video games such as Digimon: Digital Card Battle, Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Elite Dangerous. He and Paul also played Her Story and spend a bunch of time discussing that. Paul has been playing (and finishing) Batman Arkham Knight and finally gets around to seeing Jurassic World while Hank sees and writes a review for Terminator Genisys. Also, Sailor Moon is still the best!

The guys test out using QQ instead of Skype, so apologies for some technical issues. Paul finally sees Mad Max: Fury Road! He thought it was ok. They play the Korean MMO Blade & Soul and have a surprisingly good time. Homer gets back into Devil Survivor: Overclocked. More D&D happened, this time with a lot more role-playing. Spider-Man (SNES) is terrible and Homer has played it too much.
