Twice a month, Michael Kent sits down with your favorite artists and musicians to talk about slashers, creature features, and all other things that go bump in the night. Each episode features a "focus film", in which the guest chooses their favorite horror movie, and they then dig deep into the movie, and how it impacted their lives. For a genre that is dismissed as regularly as Horror, Toxic Schlock seeks to show how these monster mashes enrich all our lives.

    We did it! We passed the 13 episode mark! To celebrate our good fortunes, we had the pleasure of sitting down with Joe and Tom of the Menzingers. The Menzingers are a band that has grown into a modern punk institution, and for their focus film they picked Wes Craven's Scream, a film often credited with the revival of horror in the mid 1990s. Along with digging deep into the film, they also touched on Kill List, the Babadook, Poltergeist, and Michael's heroic origin story of becoming a Menzingers fan!
