Episode 38: Expecting the Savior (Preparing for the Holidays)
08/11/2018 Duración: 17minI want to talk about preparing ourselves for the holidays, not our business necessarily, although business is important. It's a huge thing as we prepare to go into this season. I think prioritizing our wants and our needs now that might seem really simple that might seem really difficult depending on where you're at with this and what your other priorities and what your other commitments already are. I think it's a really good to check out what it is that you have going on in your schedule and what is you want the season to look like. Episode 32: How I Thrive as a Mom and CEO (and You Can Too)

Here are five lessons I have learned that will help you thrive as a mom and CEO too. Do what you can while you can. I don't save all of my work for naptime, I am not afraid to work while the babies play. Or eat for that matter. What does that look like for my schedule? It's changed over time. Episode 28: How God Called Me to Quit
23/08/2018 Duración: 13minIt was January. It was cold. I had a baby who was a few weeks old and I was taking a break in the shower, doing one of my favorite shower activities - praying. I found myself praying for my business, for my clients, and suddenly, God called me to quit my biggest client. I was a little shocked considering we used that money to buy food for the family. More importantly, I wasn't ready to quit working with my beloved client. The thing is, after that, I started to understand that God calls us out of something good so he can fulfill his mission. That mission is the next best thing he's called me to. And that's huge and special. I continued to pray and ask God for a timeframe and I finally got one. Again, I questioned God if this was right. I also went back and forth with him on the timing, thinking I knew better. Having a Christ-centered business means it's not always going to be convenient or expected, but it's almost always according to God's plan. With that being said, I told my husband we would be expecting a

Episode 21: Liven Up Your Day in 3 Simple Ways
05/07/2018 Duración: 11minI wanted to pop in quick and share with you what's on my heart for you. These are things that I do when I need some encouragement for my day. - The first one is one that I use when I feel like my kids are crazy, when I need to pray and be encouraged, so basically every day. It's worship music! I pull up my nifty YouTube app and listen. The one that I love right now is So Will I (100 Billion X) from Hillsong United and Rooftops from Jesus Culture. Worship music is great for when I need inspiration, so I can get in the mood and in the zone. When I start writing something, I pray and ask Jesus for his words to flow through me. It's someone else singing and praising God so I can write and still be praising God. - Secondly prayer. Whether that's with you alone, with your kids or your partner. If you have a friend to type "hey, can you pray for me today" is so good! That's why I talk so much about having an inner circle who is willing to pray for you, for your business. If you have times when it's a rough day when
