Her family used to make trips up to Canada where they would target walleye, northern pike, musky, and bass. After a series of events led her down to Florida, the Fishing Capital of the World, and from a kayak no less, Dee has found her true passion. Well, that was me this past week. It indeed proved to be a major challenge and, not that I need it, but a humbling experience! However, I was blessed to get the opportunity to sit down with an amazing lady out on Lake Guntersville, Captain Betty Stahl, and that made any struggles I may have had on the fishing side more than worthwhile. I am excited to share it with you on this week's episode! Betty grew up fishing in Florida but eventually moved to the Guntersville area specifically because of this amazing fishery. She is now doing guided trips, and she knows this lake through and through. She fished the Bassin' Gals trail back in the heyday and now she's currently the only female team fishing the Alabama Bass Trail and kicking some tail! At 71 years old (sorry Betty I hope that's ok to reveal your age but you don't resemble anywhere
