Que lo Que!! Imagine waking up in the middle of the night to chaos, like movie real no lights, water and straight crazy. An invasion of something of the unknown. I know I sound like a sci-fi film and the Dominicans are already shouting Y que la vaina.. but seriously imagine if for weeks, even months there are no resources easily accessible. You know I never like to talk about politics and I share my reasoning on this episode but how does everyone really feel about the “ “government shutdown” Is this a diversion or a trailer for what could be coming? Are we ready to go back to the 1800? Will is happen? Is this all rubbish? I mean we are talking about a nuclear electromagnetic pulse which like a firework of not pretty colors and entertainment but a freaking burst of electromagnetic radiation created by a nuclear explosion. Too Deep or Too Surface? What would you do if you knew the date of your death? How would your relationships with your family and friends be affected? Would you start a bucket list? Enroll in yoga? Eat more donuts and ice cream?Do you think it would raise your self-awareness about the value of each moment or would it lead you into depression or panic? Oye Primos: none of us know when this day will come and having anxiety over it doesn’t help anyone. But just because we don’t know when that day will come doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t set aside time to  think about it. Sometimes, their answers make actual sense. But many times, their answers are irresistibly funny and amusing.Next time you come across a kid, ask questions! You’ve got nothing to lose. You might even stumble upon some meaningful responses and ideas. Also, asking questions is a great way to break the ice to those kids who gove you the stare down and are super serious. No, No, No, No, No  it means all the same in every language.Rejection for everyone is so different, but the feeling inside can burn like scotch bonnet  peppers on some Jamaican brown stew fish!! ( can you tell I am hungry; you know what I mean ) But how about if we could learn from them ? How about if there is a deeper meaning for them and we just cant see it. No one likes rejection. I mean who wants to put themselves in a vulnerable position only to be slapped down. But I’ve found that if you truly want something in life, whatever it may be, rejection just comes with the package. Look primo and primas its Necessary!!! This one might be a hard pill to swallow but if you focus on doing what is easy, life will be hard. If you focus on doing what is hard, your life will become easy because you challenged yourself. Rejection is a very hard thing to deal with because it takes a direct hit to our egos and who we think we are that we would rather avoid it then face it head on. I mean the noise I am talking about is not the grocery list or what to get Tio for christmas. It's the noise that alters your perception and can be confused with the powerful word we all hear called fear. However we all know fear isn't even real it's a great word that Marketing pros have monetized in every self help book including mine( so no I am not judging I have a different take). Now if you say emotions, those right there can scare the living platanos out of you no matter what the situation may be. Wake up primos y primas times are changing. Who can you trust? Why are we so darn afraid to talk to someone when our junk catches up with us? There is a full mouth answer to that and you’re NOT alone! The decision to begin anything that has to do with speaking your feelings can be hard but listen up “ talking to a professional sometimes helps gets us out of our head and the monologue we’ve been telling our self past down from generation to generation.People think needing therapy makes them “crazy,” while others fear the potential embarrassmentof telling their innermost thoughts to a stranger. This is not a rant about history, rasicism and blah blah blah. Just an inquisitive mind and question on my recent trip from Italy wondering about BC and AD and my ancestors. I take a detailed look through the sistine chapel and have so many questions about religion, facts etc and once again my ancestry.  Didn't God create everyone but why didn't Mr. Michelangelo paint them? Ok maybe after squinting I saw some dude fair skin with big lips, maybe he's one of us and they ran out of brown paint. I don't know about you but when I travel to other countries I wonder about these things. Please tell me what you think and if you're a history buff please put me in check with some knowledge. I am always curious of these hotlines that say CALL and ask us anything so I came across an article from The Todays Show and It said if you call this phone number (334) 844-4244 it connects you to a University and they will try to answer any question you could possibly have.So I called it, and here's what happened, I was curious to see if it was another scam or if they really could answer questions, so I stayed on hold. Although I realized I could be there for hours  my call was short but it was interesting to be able to hear this students perspective. Is it just me or people are afraid to have conversations?Do I believe a phone operator from the a University can answer all my questions? Still unsure because at the end of the day we have our own minds, thoughts, experiences and beliefs but it was pretty cool to just talk like its 1995

 Is Love overrated? I can see it now how many can confuse the word "self love" with self obsessed, narcissistic, conceded and the list goes on. Seriously, critics that have bashed books, tv shows, therapists, yogis and activists for using this word as a part of healing. Self love is beyond that. Today I speak to a strong single mother raising a teenager in this day in age where love shouldn't be condemned as something negative but uplifting and empowering and how it all starts with you, I ourselves. I don't know how this mamma does it all the time because I have NEVER ever seen her upset or mad. She is always laughing and smiling but I had to ask her what keeps the sunshine flowers of positivity surfing her aura daily when all I want to do sometimes is slap some sense into people.
