Dawneebee and Jillian talk to Dr. Stephanie Jenkins and Denise Goldman about Phish academia. Dr. Jenkins is an assistant professor in the School of History, Philosophy, and Religion at Oregon State University and teaches a course called Philosophy School of Phish! Part of this course entails watching 3 live shows either live or via webcam. For an added lab credit, you can take a field trip to the Gorge this summer for a 3 night run of Phish. Denise has been attending Phish academia conferences and recently wrote a research paper on the female fan base.
