Marc is one of the worlds leading sociologists on the subject for network graphs of people. Marc and his team have created the most fantastic platform NodeXL used within the social media research foundation for people to utilise the Twitter social graph. They can use it to find the top influencers for given Hashtags. Node XL also all allows you to visualise the social network of these hashtags giving you the change to see what kind of structure the network has. This episode is truly rich with many advanced topics that could easily make it into a tech podcast, but I wanted to expose the concepts to my listeners here so they can take advantage of them. While Nikos went on his travels to Ukraine, he organised a JavaScript seminar with his friend Arthur James. Arthur took a bold step by starting a website development business while in his last year at School and already has several local and international clients. He is also in the process of making his own startup in the teaching English field. When he was 17, he also got an IT job in a large local IT company in his region.
