So when i had the idea for this show i had one movie in mind i wanted to review for the pilot episode and to show my first impression to our show. Then I had a change of heart and went with Beetlejuice instead. Well now you get to listen to the very first recording I did with Shawn. After the review, a battle struck causing the factions to go head-head in choosing a team of Movie Sidekicks they deem worthy to join in on their quest. Breaking in the horror Genre on the podcast, Shawn and I review the movie everyone is talking about, Hereditary. During this episode, I almost break my phone during the recording and Shawn tries to breathe threw his cold. We discuss our love of horror movies, Halloween Trailer, A short horror film festival, and a horror edition of the game "Would You Rather". Spice up your life with another episode of Movie Geek & Proud. This week I am joined my biggest panel of 3 friends including my first female guest. We give our initial reactions to the trailers Skyscrapers and Bohemian Rhapsody in our Trailer Talk segment and also review Upgrade, Life of the Party, and Tully in our 3 mins or less segment. Movie Geeks, it is time for me to review a movie I haven't seen before. I explore the world terror, suspense, and circumstance in the 1951 classic Strangers on a Train, directed by Alfred Hitchcock. I am not too familiar with his films so it was nice to be able to view this movie along with my friends Shawn and James. We discuss the film from the plot, to the characters, to the cinematography. Are black and white films still relevant? Who still talks to random strangers? Also, is it really necessary to remake this film? We answer all of this and more in this episode of Movie Geek & Proud. We determine if Ariel is a spoiled brat who doesn't love her rich life. Is King Triton a good Father? Did Carlotta and Grimsby have a love affair going on?
