Here we go everyone, Episode 26 and this one is an exciting one.  Very Special Guest Bobby Markos, member of the amazing band CloakRoom and fiercely loyal "Regionite."  Joe and Bobby have a great conversation about making music in region and what it means to live in northwest Indiana as an artist and musician.  Bobby was super generous with his time and we hope to have him back soon.  Joe and Bobby talk about how the members of CloakRoom met and formed the band.  They also discuss mutual musical influences and Bobby's deep love for "Boards of Canada." It was a great  conversation. Happy St. Patrick’s everyone. This week’s episode we have Mr. Craig Brooks, a.k.a. “Brooksie.” Craig is an amazing local bagpiper that has been playing, competing, and teaching bagpiping for nearly twenty years. Joe and Craig talk about the history of the bagpiping and Craig’s introduction to the instrument that became his life’s passion. They also talk about Irish history and the significance of tradition and symbolism in bagpiping. Listen until the end to hear Craig play a few sets. It was very moving and special. Amazing side note: The bagpipes that Mr. Brooks played for us at Green Door was also played at President Kennedy’s inauguration. Wow. We really hope he comes back again.
