Welcome back to a Sorta Star Wars. Today we will be revisiting The Rise of Skywalker and discussing the cancelled Episode 9: Duel of the Fates script. Well, not so much the entire script as much as the animation that was released recently as a plot synopsis of the leaked Trevorrow script. First things first, Matt, Mollie and I talk about what shows and movies are getting us through this quarantine. Discussion revolves mostly around Disney Channel and Psych. As far as revisiting The Rise of Skywalker, we discuss what new things we’ve noticed since home release and what parts we fast forward or rewind through. Since Star Wars movies have to be ranked by all Star Wars fans, we each tell where episode 9 falls in our list and why it landed there. Finally, we talk about the animated synopsis of Colin Trevorrows cancelled and leaked episode 9 script. Happy belated Valentine’s Day! - On this Dadding episode, Michael, Jason and I discuss Valentine’s Day! This a very exciting episode because we have very special guests! Simon and Rachel Henry join Melody and I to discuss the adventure they've been on for the last 9 months. That adventure started with them selling (almost all) their stuff and moving their family of 8 into a camper for the indefinite future. Yes. I said 8. Thats a mom, dad, and 6 kids aged 11 and under. In a camper. all the time. wow. I know! We discuss the day-to-day of living in a camper while trying to homeschool and work and keep sanity. Things like laundry, bathing, getting mail, and finding alone time are just some of the more difficult things of living in a camper. But what are the benefits? No mortgage, no property tax, less material crap, and more... "quality" family time! Anyway, take a listen and see if you think living in a camper might just be for you. Valerie and Casey are Star Wars, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, LEGO, Willow, and Pride and Prejudice fans... and so are we! But how did we become involved in these fandoms? The Mandalorian Chapter 8 Review! We may be a little late on this but, like they say, better late than burning alive by your own flamethrower ….. Anyway… Mike and I talk through the last episode of the Mandalorian of this season. It has been our favorite episode so far and seems to be the MOST Star Wars yet. Perfect balance of suspense, action, and comedy. Mando is pinned down and needs to find a way to escape. Luckily our old pal IG-11 is here to save the day… even if its the last thing he’ll do. Literally. We love IG-11 and hate to see him go… but it was a satisfying end to his existence We also finally get a little more backstory on Mando and even a first name. We find out that “Mandalorian” is not a race… but a creed and Baby Yoda is his new foundling. BUT, now he is tasked with returning Baby Yoda to Jedi located on another planet. Are they referring to Luke and Leia? Could Skywalkers be involved in season 2 of the Mandalorian? Only time will tell… ALSO! The dark saber is brought into live-action Star Wa

HAPPY NEW YEAR! If you could relive any time period in your life, when would you choose? So, it was our original plan to talk about the new Star Wars movie, The Rise of Skywalker, but due to technical difficulties, that episode is going to have to be postponed. Which actually turned out okay because we came up with a really great idea for this episode. Because it’s the new year and new decade, we wanted to take a look back at decades past. We wanted to figure out what decade we would want to live in if we could pick any decade.. but still be in our current living situation… meaning having 4 kids. I was extremely surprised by the decade the Melody picked and she may have even convinced me during the podcast that I picked the wrong one. We go on to discuss why we would pick that time period, what big events took place, and what our lives would look like. We also discuss the possibility of revisiting a decade in our own lives. What decade would you want to relive? We actually both ended up picking the same time
