Mike and The Drifter purchased some mics off Amazon and it appears they were having some tech issues with the mics because they didn't work ☹️. It's being worked out, however Economics is the discussion and Mike and The Drifter are little concerned and aware of where our economy is headed thanks to insight from Peter Schiff. The Drifter hogs the mic...this SUCKS! The Drifter teases himself by purchasing N/A beer. He's like a heroin addict buying bath salts...

With 13% of Sober October completed, Mike and The Drifter discus the challenges that come with sobriety and the positive aspects as well.

The Drifter has twisted Mike's arm into having a "couple of beers" just before "Sober October" kicks off. There's a silver lining in everything in life and it's very important to focus on the relationships around us and not the next "super sale" item. Stop being a consumer of products and more of a consumer of love. Fuckin' hippie!

The bittersweet "Sober October" is officially here and Mike and The Drifter are ready for a much needed break from the booze. The "Information Exchange" is a great idea where The Drifter and Mike read the same book and have conversations and highlights about the literature.

Work was busier than normal. The Drifter is geared up Sober October, Mike...not so much

Mike's working a double shift (sleeper double) and gets a head start to his weekend. The Drifter gets to swing by his booze shop, go home, feed his kittens and think about water fasting for Sober October.

Mike falls into The Drifter's web of outrage and flys off the cuff about politics. This wasn't designed to be a "political" episode but The Drifter likes to poke the bear. Mike is back from Baby Bonding in Minnesota after the The Drifter watched his house, swam in his pool, ate his hot dogs and drank his booze. Mike envies The Drifter.

The Drifter is not motivated. Mike wonders what the career field will be like when his kids are older and is it Friday yet?

Mike took a few days off of "partying" and The Drifter might be motivated to do the same. Being able to party after a long day or week of work is what keeps us motivated and it's fun, but over time it wears on us and it's important to step back a little bit. Our wallets will appreciate it as well. The Drifter brings up "sober October" all in a drives home.

Today's media can sometimes be informative but overall it can be very distracting. No body really cares about your FB posts. The drifter drops a bombshell as we take on a beer run!

"Life is short" is definitely a cliche. But when one stops and takes in the landscape, one might realize that time on this planet is very short and that each day is valuable. Perception shapes perspective.

After what was supposed to be a nice 15 day vacation in London and Austria, The Drifter found himself in a hospital bed about halfway through his trip. 2.5 months later The Drifter is back on swingshift ready to get back to the grind.

The Drifter is officially away on vacay and Mike is able to hang out with him (wife and kids at D-Land) at a bar somewhere. Enjoy...this will be our last podcast until he returns from his adventures in London. Cheers
