This series follows Dracula from his origins in Eastern Europe to his battles with Van Helsing's descendants and beyond. Netflix's description reads: "The Count Dracula legend transforms with new tales that flesh out the vampire's gory crimes—and bring his vulnerability into the light." There are three episodes in this particular series and was a group effort between BBC One and Netflix which aired over 3 days and I will say it was one of the most interesting takes on the Dracula mythology. I watched these three episodes not realizing that it was a mini-series and not an ongoing which they really could have done. We had the drama of Sony and Disney arguing over the rights of Spider-man last year but after seeing this trailer it makes me think that it was all a ruse to get fans in an uproar and let me tell you why as well as give my impression of Morbius. Jared Leto had his try at the Joker in the Suicide Squad yet I can say this teaser trailer looks better for him on this side of a Bat. The origin seems somewhat comic book accurate.  The faint hint at the connection to the MCU is not Michael Keaton at the end of the trailer but the picture of Spider-man with Murderer spray painted over it as a direct nod to Marvel Studios Spider-man Far From home ending. This trailer dropped this week and I want to explore and get your opinion on why Harley Quinn is so popular? From humble beginnings in Batman the Animated Series to comics to movies everyone loves Harley. I am talking about the trailer and a little bit more, hope this doesn’t come up short. This movie as well as the comic books is taking a look at Harley’s growth as a character over the years, I talked about how great the animated series from DC Universe is.  I remember when the character was introduced on Batman the Animated series and her popularity blossomed but not like how it is today. Fast Forward a little bit and people were saying how they wanted relationships like Joker and Harley this was only because as her character grew in popularity, she had more appearances every time Batman’s iconic nemesis made an appearance, she was the perfect sidekick, but when does a sidekick grow into their own? Have you ever just wanted to watch some trippy stuff? I mean I am one of those people that grew up on the old animated Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Heavy Metal animated movie and shows on MTV like Aeon Flux. This brings me to an animated feature I found on Netflix while scanning called MFKZ. So, we are going to do this again? I mean the teaser said the trailer was going to drop at 6 AM but it didn’t pop till 4 hours later OK they are going to keep with the push it back theme. This trailer is actually better than the 1st one delivered back in 2017 which proves that someone watched the original cut of this movie and was like hell no we have to do something. Netflix is doubling down on original content and when you pay big money to Ryan Reynolds and Michael Bay you are guaranteed several things and it isn’t necessarily a great Oscar worthy story. It’s not about how many things were wrong about this movie; it’s about managing expectations. This movie did not disappoint but it also didn’t blow me away. Where do we stand now that the Skywalker saga is done and the big reveals were made? We will discuss this completely and there will be spoilers. I purposely waited to review this series because of all the buzz people were blowing my timeline up with on how great it was, how ground breaking and I will have to admit I wasn’t disappointed. Date night is always fun, I visit the Local Alamo Draft house Theater for a couple of reasons: #1 it is usually free of ghetto activities, #2 it was $8 movie night, who could pass up $8 movie night. When you are a bounty hunter there is a big problem with connecting with people from your past, you don’t have many trustworthy contacts. The Mandalorian is doing everything he can in order to stay two steps ahead of the Guild hunting him and little YoSephus who Disney calls “The child”. I peeped out the 1st three episodes of the Harley Quinn animated series and ladies and gentlemen. I will have to say that I have always felt Harley Quinn has be over used and shoved down our collective throats much like Deadpool and Wolverine over the years. Now we finally get this and now I am feeling some kind of way. I walked into this with no expectations other than knowing that it is another take on Harley Quinn. This dude has become the most sought-after thing in the Star Wars universe. He is like a fidget spinner from a couple of years ago. They are really using so much of the Star Wars lore it really makes me long to watch the OG trilogy. Little YoSephus really is going to work my nerves by getting into so much stuff knowing he needs to keep his ass put. The Mandolorian is smoother than Denzel in this one but less corrupt. I love seeing my favorite SHIELD agent but I really think it’s because I have a thing for Ming Na Wen. She has a habit of playing a bad ass but this kid who wants to be a bounty hunter working with the Mandalorian has to have been the biggest dummy ever. Episode 4 (Sanctuary) of The Mandalorian is a special kind of animal. This basically lets us know there is no way in hell our hero is going to get romantically involved with anyone. The last episode was pretty much bringing him back to the action I was looking for because Little YoSephus (The Baby Yoda Thingy) has taken the internet by storm. Black Friday, Cyber Monday, But That Rent Better Get Paid! Don’t get caught up with that foolishness because those sales look really good. It’s December 1stand those checks hit the bank but so did that mortgage, electric bill, cable bill, and credit card bills you have been paying on all year. Don’t get me wrong I am all for a sale but unless it is off the chain I refuse to get caught up in the hype. Cheap TV’s, Electronics, but none of the stuff you really want is deeply discounted. Maybe the best options are to stay at home and enjoy a few of these streaming video options. On Netflix – Seis Manos The plot is set in the fictional town of San Simon in 1970s Mexico and revolves around three orphans trained in Chinese martial arts. When their mentor is killed, they join forces with an American DEA agent and a Mexican policewoman to avenge his murder. I mean what else you need other than that? I just finally finished watching Raising Dion this was the Netflix series about a woman who raises her son Dion after the death of her husband Mark. Sounds like a John Singleton flick at first if it was set in L.A. but when Dion starts to manifest several magical, superhero-like abilities we add a level of complexity that either makes or breaks this series. Netflix is creating very interesting concepts for their original shows but this one ran through the BLERD community and everyone raced to watch it and review it. I on the other hand had to wait for my wife because she couldn’t binge watch it and didn’t want me spoiling it for her so we watch one episode every so often until we finished and well, I will say I haven’t felt one way or another about this show. That doesn’t bode well in my GoingFullNerd book because if a show has extreme ups and downs as well as trying to address social commentary all in one it becomes a muddled mess. So let me hit the good, the bad, and the WTF of Raising Dion. --- Send in

If you remember my last review, I was feeling really skeptical about the direction of The Mandalorian. This current episode actually redeemed itself and that is part of the risk of watching episodic shows. Slowly turning him into the john Wick of the Star Wars Universe this is the type of action I was looking for. Yeah, yeah I know that we have the cuteness of the “kid” (that’s what they are calling the baby Yodaesque creature I dubbed YoMTv) but this episode further reinforces my disappointment in Jango and Boba Fett and their onscreen portrayal in the Star Wars films because this Mandalorian is giving me the badassery I expected from them. So after a minor dip this series has taken a good uptick in my book and chalk up another instance of Carl Weathers getting his ass handed to him. Dude opens up the second episode fighting two rejects from Star Trek and just watching how he fights I know Boba Fett was weak as hell the way he went out in Return of the Jedi.
