Dave is under fire for posting a controversial image on Facebook. No, not the mink fur Lederhosen image. This one was of a grilled cheese sandwich, cut in half like a Viking took his axe to it. All good things must come to an end.  I guess that explains why this podcast keeps on going! Dave and Jerry say goodbye to summer, and Dave fills us in on his post Labor Day trip to do summer things before they close down for the season. We asked this very question to our podcast listeners, and a lot of them said they need to visit one very popular area restaurant before it closes (you have to listen to find out which one.) Dave went back in the saddle last week (not talking about the incident on the news with the Horsey ride at the Acme) when he filled in as a favor for DJ John Lockwood doing trivia at Surf Dog Bar and Grill in Woodbine. Dave stepped away from his mobile DJ side job a couple of years ago because he had too much fun and made too much money. Dave and Jerry reminisced about the business and some surprises at weddings. Dave is back from the big Pratt family annual reunion in New Hampshire, and a great time was had by all because nobody got arrested this year (although they may not be invited back to New Hampshire next year.) Dave is back from Walt Disney World exhausted and broke, and tells of days filled with thrills, food, heat stroke and mice. And now, for something completely different. Dave is at Walt Disney World with the family this week (Florida in July? Yes, Dave is Goofy) so we went back into the Dave and Jerry radio archives to put together a scope of some of our broadcasts from what sounds like sometime around 2005-06?  A fun time always had by all when we worked together doing morning radio together. Dave discusses his hunt for a side hustle, to help him afford his artisan cheese runs to Lancaster. He refuses to go back to table dancing. He felt so cheap! Dave and Jerry had dinner last week with former PD Chris Dupuis, and started reminiscing about some of their former radio co-workers who you probably have listened to here in South Jersey and Philadelphia. Harbor Square Theatre in Stone Harbor is showing the 1975 motion picture Jaws this weekend, and listeners contributed their favorite scenes and Jaws movie quotes. Dave has become a "soccer dad" and describes his never ending struggle to not scream at the refs. Jerry is wondering what snacks he takes to the games. WIth summer in full swing, listeners contribute their favorite hot dogs and condiments. The best brands and the best places in South Jersey to get them. From a couple of wieners who are plump cause they've eaten way too many hot dogs!

Dave is going to Walt Disney World. Jerry's been there over a hundred times. Dave's wife did a 'magical' job planning their trip. Dave & Jerry hit the road, traveling to the chic, cosmopolitan capital of the Garden State, Trenton for the 6th Annual Pork Roll Festival. Veni, Vidi, Vi-gulp (Latin for "they came, they saw, they ate), sampling from the very finest pork roll delicacies the world, or at least New Jersey had to offer. Candied Pork Roll on waffles, Corn and Pork Roll Casserole, Pork Roll and Beer Cheese over Tater Tots (bloump) they tried it all, and are still in the bathroom.
