He does interviews with people that are doing amazing work in the community and then makes content highlighting the people. Very STP in every way.   • Dinner & A Cause (Benefitting End Slavery TN) - Recap

    This episode of the podcast is a recap from the "Dinner & A Cause" event that happened on November 11th. This event benefitted End Slavery TN, a nonprofit that facilitates efforts to end human trafficking and provides comprehensive aftercare for survivors. Melissa Holt, an ambassador and big supporter of Spread The Positive was the one who had the idea to do this event for this cause and it really speaks to the type of person she is. The community really rallied behind this cause and the event ended up raising more than double the original amount of money they were hoping to raise. So needless to say it was a huge success. There were over 40 local businesses that donated items for a silent auction and helped sponsor the event. The energy was amazing and was definitely a great example of everything we are looking to bring light to with this podcast. Big thanks to Melissa, her team, and Just Love (Boro West) for hosting. It was a really special night and we were really honored to be involved!

Kara Kemp, Samantha Blake, and Dr. Jae Hitson all did an amazing job speaking about ways to keep perspective on how crazy life can get, tangible takeaways for the audience to take with them to be more fearless & fabulous. We speak to several of the attendees, some of the speakers and with Jessica herself. It was really awesome! Keep an eye out for the next event. Bill is active in community-oriented efforts on a regular basis and is constantly bringing light to what is going right here in Middle TN. We speak about the "Love Your Neighbor" events that happen on the square that bring all walks of life in our community together to learn about each other's culture and share love with one another. The "Love Your Neighbor" events are the epitome of everything we are about with Spread The Positive. She is an incredible example of everything we are about at Spread The Positive. All of her shows and content has the mission of "making people feel good". Not only through good music and radio segments but also with real community outreach efforts. Mix 929 as a whole is great embodiment of Spread The Positive in general. They have an ongoing "kindness counts" campaign where they partner with local nonprofits or help worthy causes using the platform they have with the large audience they have! This was such a cool experience and very grateful to have Anna Marie as an advocate for STP and what we are building! Definitely looking forward to future collabs with Anna Marie! Chrysalis is a 12-week, online post-operative program designed specifically for women who have had breast surgery so that they can recover better and return to life more quickly. Lauren developed this program after seeing a large gap in the recovery process after women had surgery from breast cancer, several who were family members and close friends. Her passion for the work they are doing through The Chrysalis Method is so clear to see and really inspiring to say the least. Dementia and Alzheimers services are needed more than ever and Mindful Care is in need of resources, money and awareness to keep these very necessary services happening here in Murfreesboro and beyond. All three of these ladies have very personal stories of why they are so passionate about making sure these services are available and affordable for the people that need them. This is a really powerful episode and is a great example of people thinking on a bigger picture level.
