Steve is an Englishman who has worked for 10 years in Dubai advising banks and working with sovereign wealth funds. He then started a sports science company, managed to outsource a lot of it and therefore now considers himself completely Financially Independent (he does not like the word retired!). In 2015 he started his own Youtube channel: **Minimalist Keto. He quit his job and is now travelling and working online. Sofia is from Hungary and is currently a student in Vienna finishing her master’s program. She also has a Youtube channel cover at ** Minimalist Ways, where she does animations for cool books (for those who don’t want to read them all). He is married and recently had a daughter, and as he likes to put it, a cheap-ass. Living in Switzerland is expensive: buying food, getting medical care, buying a house - everything is expensive. And yet Mr RIP still manages to keep his living costs low. Thanks to this, he is on a way faster path to FI and is hoping to retire early. We were intrigued, which is why we interviewed him.
