Everyday Strategies That Help You Accomplish More With Gregg Clunis
18/12/2018 Duración: 43minSome of the highlights of this episode are: When we talked about the words follow your passion and dream big. What they mean to Gregg is important and needs to be heard. In the middle of the podcast Gregg goes into a story about every day strategies that can help you accomplish more in your day. A loose quote he mentioned was something along the lines of constantly experiment, but never deviate too much. Something near and dear to my heart is having your own command center so to speak to create content and lastly, the story about Gregg’s father. Gregg’s father passed away last year. Gregg made a rap album about it and his reasons why he did it are inspiring and nothing short of amazing. The quote that stuck with me was mention on his instagram, which was: “One of the biggest lessons I've learned from losing my father last year is the importance of family and keeping the ones you love close. You never know when you will part ways” Enjoy the episode. Links mentioned in interview: https://greggclunis.com Follo

How The Life Of An Entrepreneur Is Lonely
13/12/2018 Duración: 07minI later stormed out the house I used to call home and found myself driving back to my home without music, without sound, just me in my own thoughts. Thoughts were going through my head, anger ensued, and it came to a boiling point where I just began to break down. I couldn’t take this pressure anymore and I had to let it out. That moment for me, was probably the single greatest moment I’ve had with myself in a long time. Now you’re probably thinking, this guy is a sick bastard, and you’re probably right. I am. But what I realized was that there is beauty in pain. We all go through pain and suffering, but when it happens, we always come out better because of it. What I realized is that throughout this disagreement: Not once did I ever question myself. Rethink the way my life would have been or should be spent Not once did I have to soul search to find out who I am, what I stand for, and what I believe in Even though entrepreneurship is lonely. It’s a life I love. I’ve always called entrepreneurship a beautif

Innovation: Takeaways From Making A Product In The USA with Rachel Benyola
11/12/2018 Duración: 42minRachel’s company is very unique. It’s solving a real problem and is on the forefront in technology in the commuter cycling industry. It’s a great company that has great values. As we progress as a society we need to explore the safety of cycling, motor and electric scooters, and various other forms of travel. These sustainable means of travel are the future of our society and we all need to invest in these at one point primitive ways of technology. Another reason I wanted to interview Rachel is that her products are all made in the US. You can hear why this is important to her in the middle of the podcast. Some of the highlights of this episode are: What the words equality and inclusion mean to Rachel Rachel’s views on the future of travel Links mentioned in interview: https://www.anneelondon.com Follow Us: Podcast Website:http://www.tbeshow.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/grzybowskij YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9lkipQ_wV2vmzspwtdA7hQ Sponsors: Penji is an effective on-demand design

Culture And Leadership With Former CEO Of Virtua Health; Rich Miller
04/12/2018 Duración: 43minAfter talking to Rich for over an hour talking our about business, life, faith, family. You really get an idea of what it takes to be a leader and why Virtua made the right decision to bring Rich on as their CEO over 20 years ago. A few takeaways from the conversation is when we talked about how one day Rich had his head down while he was walking around the office. There wasn’t a particular reason why his head was down, but one of his employees came up to him and asked him if he was ok. For me, that was a gut check and a realization that no matter what mood you are in, you have to perform at the highest level possible. That one misstep can lead others to feeling insecure about their job or you may pass that energy onto others within your executive team. Everyone needs to have that comfort knowing everything is ok. Another takeaway was a conversation that didn’t air, but felt the need to share it. I recorded this in a conference room and being that I’m an Apple user, I forgot to get the dongle for the micr

Airplane Story Why Humans Are Fearful
29/11/2018 Duración: 11minNow, it wasn’t crazy turbulence, but crazy enough to warrant a little bit of stress. During the brief moments of turbulence, there were a few shrieks from those in the cabin. Some of the people were visibly stressed out because of it. I saw a few people holding each other’s hands and even someone that was constantly looking around at others with a stress face on. I’m sure you know what this means. However, there was one person in the entire cabin that didn’t have a care in the world what was going on and had absolutely ZERO stress. And that was a young child that was sitting about 3 rows from me. While almost every single person was stressed, parents including, the child was laughing, giggling, and talking to others within the cabin. The child was in the hands of the father and with every slight feeling of turbulence, the father clenched his arms to hold the baby tighter. As if if were the last time that they could seen each other. Now, I have no idea what it means to be a father. I don’t have a kid and maybe

What Does It Mean To Have An Online Presence? (With Pia Larson)
27/11/2018 Duración: 30minBiggest takeaway for me was when Pia mentioned about how you need a showstopper. Which to Pia means that you are searching at around 10:30 at night and the person searching has 100 tabs open and then they stop to your website and think, holy crap. I need this. 3 Pillars To Get Any Job You Want
22/11/2018 Duración: 14minMaybe it’s just me and my inner circle, but entrepreneurship is this “cool”, “hip” thing. It’s apparently cool to brag about the money you make, or the car you drive, or the vacation you are on. We are obsessed with this life where we have to share every waking moment of our lives in order to be relevant. Many people also believe that in order to make any sort of impact on this Earth, you have to quit your job or drop out of college to be someone important. I’d like to tell you now that entrepreneurship isn’t for everyone. It’s freaking dark. It’s lonely. The highs are really high and the lows are so freaking low that you contemplate life, the meaning, the purpose and everything in between. I’m serious. If you’re going into this world of entrepreneurship, get ready for a ride. As dangerous and as scary as it can be, it’s like this beautiful disaster as weirdly as it sounds because no matter what happens along the way, you come out stronger and better than what you were. In my opinion, entrepreneurship isn’

How Lunch Revolutionized Penji's Creative Process
15/11/2018 Duración: 06minI’d like to share how lunch in revolutionized our startup: Lunch and learns. We’ve all heard of them and I am sure we all feel a certain way about lunch and learns. However we wanted to change the negative connotation between what a Lunch and Learn was. We take education incredibly serious here at Penji. So serious, that every week we have a lunch and learn about any particular topic we choose. Each week, the administrative team nominates a fellow team member to teach something interesting during lunch. The beauty behind the words “something interesting” is that something interesting is so vague. We make sure that it’s not just about business. It can be about: A team member’s passion Their favorite foods How to cook a certain meal Arts and crafts. One in particular where we had to create a playing card for the person to our right. How to properly use gifs on Slack All of which have been done. And you can only imagine how many gifs are now used within our Slack channels. Pop Culture References At Penji, w

5 Steps For Instant Sales Improvement With Brian Robinson
13/11/2018 Duración: 36minBrian is an expert at sales. Anytime you can have a conversation with someone about sales you know it’s going to lead to a great conversation. What I admire about Brian is hs dedication to his craft and overall his commitment to his community. With over 20 years of sales experience Brian wrote a book about all of the battle wounds that he’s endured over his illustrious career. Some of the highlights of this episode are: Why he decided to write a book that you could open up to any chapter and learning something that you can apply immediately before you enter your next sales call/meeting Pre-call checklist The importance of anchoring and the power of guarantee. These is discussed in the later half of the episode and how Brian sold over a million dollars in one year all through the phone. How To Stop Feeling Lost In Business

The Importance Of Building Company Culture Early With aWeber CEO; Tom Kulzer
06/11/2018 Duración: 41minThe reason why I wanted to interview Tom Kulzer specifically is because anytime you can have a conversation with somebody who bootstrapped a company to where aWeber’s growth is now to how it started, you have to take that person up on the conversation. So just the, the mindset is just completely different than that of like a corporate person or even an entrepreneur who has received funding. You have to be a little bit more resourceful and every dollar counts, which you can kind of hear that from the conversation. Every dollar and every penny counts for that matter. Mean you can hear that in the conversation as you, as you continue to listen. Tom also created an email newsletter in 1996 when nobody was using email newsletters. And in my opinion, I think that was kind of the catalyst to why he started a weber was seen as this opportunity in order to talk to somebody. And so we talk about that and we also talk about the glamor of getting funding versus not getting funding and what that looks like. Lastly, and I
