Today, Dan talks with Noel Gandy of Southwest Iowa about some of the failures he encountered in the 2018 bowhunting season and what he is doing to correct those failures for next year. First, Noel and Dan share their hatred for this long winter and how the crazy weather pattens influenced the 2018 hunting season. Then Noel shares with us the story of a giant buck he spotted during the summer months and how he plotted to kill that deer during the season. As the summer came to an end and so did the buck he was after, however, on the first cold front of October another big buck stepped out and gave him a shot opportunity. And as they often do, the arrow did not hit his mark... either did the second shot.
