When hell is full... you know that the crew of the Galactic Driftwood will be back to watch everything from a safe distance. That distance being orbit. Thankfully, hell still has room left and you can book your vacation now! In the meantime, we'll be talking about a film one of our friends and frequent guests (almost a host himself) Stu Burns turned us onto, One Cut of the Dead (Amazon Instant Video). This is a unique film that you're definitely going to have to watch for yourself, and stick with until the end. Trust me. Or, listen to this week's episode where Stu joins another frequent guest and expert in horror films, Benito Garcia (of GoRPGs fame) where we talk about this movie and hopefully don't spoil too much! Inner Worlds are colliding this week on Galactic Driftwood as we interview the writer, producer, and actor Katie Otten, and fellow actor Tim Mantil, from the new web series Inner Worlds. Inner Worlds is a story about a group of characters that are starting a Dungeons & Dragons campaign together but, unlike the majority of D&D series out on the Internet where people just record themselves playing their characters in a game, this is a story about a group of players themselves and how playing the game affects their lives and relationships in little ways and ultimately changes them as people over time. Come and listen to the creatives involved discuss their work on the project and how they are bringing this story to life!

Just let me enjoy my space-wizards with their pew-pew swords. Here on the good ship Galactic Driftwood, we take notice when things start to go awry on our home world. This week, we'll be talking about the sad trend of attacking actors and shows on social media for being "too woke" or whatever people are complaining about. So, I guess consider this a warning, if you think that a lesbian couple in a Pixar movie is "controversial" this episode probably isn't for you.

"You saved the breast for last!" The crew of the U.S.S. Galactic Driftwood is entering your local orbit again and this time we're sampling some of your finest human mea... I mean your finest horror movies. Oh, who are we fooling. This week we're setting our replicators to "long pork" and reviewing Fresh, a horror movie currently streaming on Hulu. If you haven't guessed from my many hints, this movie involves eating people, so you've been warned. And if you don't want to spoil your food (or your movie) you might want to head over and check it out. Either way, you should tune into the show this week and leave us a comment about who... I mean what your favorite food is.

"... to explore Strange New Worlds, new life, and new civilizations..." It's finally time to talk about something that the crew of the Galactic Driftwood has been looking forward to for quite a bit: Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. It's no secret we've got some fans of the original series on the ship so this return to "classic" Star Trek has been something that a bunch of people have been excited for. If you're not into Star Trek, don't worry, we've got some other nerdy content to cover, including Thor: Love and Thunder! Still, we had enough people around to talk about the end of the second season of Picard (Paramount+). Coming soon to a screen (of varying size) near you! It's time once again for the U.S.S. Galactic Driftwood to drift through your planet's local orbit again so that we can sample your fine science fiction and fantasy wares. This time we're checking out trailers for upcoming series and movies. We're getting excited about multiple projects, some coming to movie theaters, some coming to one of the big streaming services. We'll be reviewing the actual trailers and talking about them, so prepare your ears for something a little different this week!

This week on Galactic Driftwood we ask the question, "How much can you actually eat?" when every restaurant is an all-you-can-eat buffet? Well, we don't actually ask that exact question but dance around it. We've talked before about how the proliferation of streaming services impacts us, but now the grand-daddy of streaming, Netflix is having some troubles so it bears talking about again. Join us for a discussion on what we're watching, what services we have and what we might toss away. Warning, Seth's audio levels are a little high at the start of the episode. The good crew of the Galactic Driftwood has another away mission to report on! This time Captain Danger (aka Bill) led a highly trained away mission to Lyons, Nebraska for the Third annual CosmicCon. Hidden away in this small town is a fellow mad scientist by the name of Bill Hedges, following his passion and running Cosmic Films Studio. Danger and the rest of the away team helped him do some filming for an upcoming project while taking in all the wonders that Bill has created there! Tune in to find out more of what this independent film creator has been up to in the year since we last heard from him!

Fandom is Family. We're back in your orbit again for another sampling of your pop-culture goods but this week is a little different. This time we checked out bio-filters (face masks), updated our immunizations (vaccine boosters), and Captain Danger sent out a couple of away teams.  While the others were checking in on Bill Hedges at CosmicCon 2022, Seth beamed down to check out ConStellation 11 in Lincoln Nebraska. Seth has been attending since the very beginning, and he's got a report on how things turned out this year, as well as a bit of swag to show off!
