Jesus never intended for us to seek him first in our own power. He sent the Holy Spirit to give us the desire and the ability to seek him first.

God designed us with a desire to know and be known by the opposite sex, and for that desire to be fulfilled in marriage. When we seek Jesus first in our dating and marriage relationships we will find life and joy as we live according to his plans.

71% of Americans say that finances are the number one source of stress in life. In this message, we explored 5 ways we can put Jesus first in our finances and experience freedom from all that stress!

What would you give to have all the time you need every day? In Ephesians 5, we learn that we have all the time we need to accomplish all that God has asked us to do.

The everyday struggle is to be stuck in fear of making faith filled decisions. Chained to our past and pulled by our future we often loose sight of living in the present. Jesus presents us with moments in time where we must make faith filled decisions to walk on water. The only way to achieve the miraculous is by having faith in your here and now.

If we want to experience the blessing of sustaining community, we have to embrace Jesus’ plans for community. In 1 Corinthians 12 we learn that we all need each other all the time.

You were created to find life in community. When you take your place in the community Jesus is building, you find life, significance, and support.

We will spend 1/3 of our adult life at work. When we seek Jesus first in our work, he uses our job to build his kingdom!

Everyday there is a battle for your mind. In 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 we see Jesus' plan for us to experience victory over every negative and destructive thought.

We want our needs to be met and our soul to be at peace. In Matthew 6:33 Jesus promises that this will be our experience if we will seek him first.

For the final message of our SUMMER PSALMS series, we were blessed to hear from Pastor Amy, our Children's Pastor, who spoke on Psalm 42. This Psalmist demonstrates that even through hard times, it's important that we encourage our souls with the knowledge that God's faithfulness stands firm through hard times.

This week Executive Pastor Chris Godfrey took us through Psalm 19. In this Psalm, we see how God reveals himself through nature and the law, and how we should respond in prayer for justification and sanctification.

This week we were blessed to have Missionary and Evangelist, Rubans Cunha speak to us on Psalm 46. We can find rest in God's presence. Psalm 46 shows us that even if everything is falling apart, God will give us peace in Him.

In Psalm 91 we see that God is our refuge, our rescuer, and our rewarder. No matter what we are going through we must dwell in the secret place, and God will be there.

This Sunday we were honored to have speaker and author, Clifton Taulbert preach on Psalm 133 as part of our Summer Psalms series. He spoke on the importance of dwelling in unity. The unity that we dwell in is not for our purpose alone, but is for the purpose of God, to bring others to Him.

Psalm 109 teaches us that we can be brutally honest about our circumstances and the way those circumstances affect our hearts. It also reminds us that God’s unfailing love is the reason we always have hope of deliverance!

The point of life is to point to Jesus. God uses every moment in our story to tell His story to us and through us!

What would it look like for you to offer your very best in response to what Jesus has done for you? In John 12, Mary teaches us that the extravagant gifts of God to us provoke extravagant worship from us.
