As For Me And My House - Run Your Race
05/02/2018 Duración: 40minSuper bowl Sunday, a day many people look forward to every year. It comes only once a year, but the preparation and time put into it takes the entire year for the players. Even the players who probably won’t step foot onto the field still practice and train just as hard, so that on the off chance someone gets hurt, they are fully ready to step in. That is how we should be in our lives, preparing and training for the place we want to be, so when God calls, we are ready. Prepare as if you are already there. In this weeks podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson gives us insight on how The Bible is full of sports and battle references, and how there can only be one winning team. The good thing is, you already are on the winning team! Jesus won the victory and you get to share in it with Him!

As For Me And My House - A Praying Church
15/01/2018 Duración: 47minAs a church, this year we are shifting to another level, and maturing in Christ. As you mature and grow, you have to allow God to come into your heart and heal the things that you’ve held onto for so long. It is not going to be easy, and it’s going to be painful as the words and wounds are being ripped away to make way for healing. Make time to sit with the Lord. Make time to eat with the Lord. He wants you to be excited about what you are reading in His word, and to actually eat and digest what you are reading. In this message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson takes a dive into Psalms 141: 1-3. Our tongues have the power of life and death, we have to guard what we say and what goes out into the atmosphere. We learn more about the original lamb sacrifices before Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice. God wants you to be a living sacrifice for this world and to stand in the gap for the people around you. Take time today to pray specifically for the things you’re believing for, and you will see breakthrough!

As For Me and My House - What's In Your Hands?
08/01/2018 Duración: 50minAll too often we find ourselves asking God for more. Whether it’s money, time, friendships, or material things, our flesh needs more! What if God is just waiting for us to look at what we already have, and ask Him what He wants us to do with it. Those who are faithful with little will be faithful with a lot, that rule applies to everything in our lives! In this message Pastor Jeremy Johnson gives us a new perspective on a story everyone in church has heard, Mark 6:30-44, the story of Jesus multiplying the fish & loaves. We often look at the miracle and think about how wonderful it was, but we miss the steps Jesus took in between. Let’s start praising God before we see the miracle happen, before we have enough, and watch multiply it to more than enough!

As For Me And My House - We Rebuild
01/01/2018 Duración: 52minWhat better way to kick of the new year with cleansing not only our bodies but our spirits through fasting! In the Bible, we can see that men and women of God fasted to spend time seeking God. Life gets busy and our hearts can get cluttered, so fasting is a time to clean out our spirits and helps us refocus on God. Even Jesus took time to get away with God and fast. Why shouldn’t we? In this message, pastor Jeremy Johnson teaches us how to say no to our flesh, and realign our spirits to step into everything the Lord has for us this year!

I'M A BELIEVER - WITH UNOPENED GIFTS
25/12/2017 Duración: 45minChristmas time is here, everyone’s favorite holiday filled with food, family, and presents under that beautifully twinkling tree. But do we really know what the first Christmas was about? The first Christmas was about the presence of God. Not presents, but presence. It is an invitation for us to become His children if we will simply believe. In this timely message, Pastor Jeremy dives into the real reason why we celebrate the birth of Jesus and encourages us to unwrap the Gifts the Lord has already given us, it’s time to take that wrapping off this Christmas and allow Him to show us the beautiful gifts on the inside of who we are.

I'M A BELIEVER - WITH LOOP HOLES
18/12/2017 Duración: 52minIt is clear that being a believer in Jesus has nothing to do with being religious, but everything to do with love and action. It starts with loving God, loving yourself, and then loving others as you love yourself. You cannot love others well until you learn to love yourself well, which comes after you come to know the love of God. Our love for others will be polluted if we do not love ourselves first.

I'm a Believer - In Crisis
11/12/2017 Duración: 35minBelieve it or not, you can be a believer even in crisis. Unbelief is combated through faith, and faith is action, plus belief, plus confidence. If you give God your trust, He can handle any situation better than you can.

Static - Shake It Off
04/12/2017 Duración: 44minOne voice we will probably hear the loudest is the voice of the enemy, and we need to remember that it is also the weakest. Some of the markers that will help you identify the enemy’s voice will be if the words cause oppression, confusion, discouragement, or rage. The enemy will tend to attack when we are tired because his main goal is to bring us down to his level to entangle us in the things that entangled him. Jesus wants to lead us in triumph, celebrating the victory He has already won over the enemy. In this powerful message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson speaks on the voice of the enemy and how we must learn to resist him and our urge to listen to him by the grace of God.

Static - Pardon Me, I'm Under Construction
27/11/2017 Duración: 47minWhen Jesus came back to the disciples, He did not show wounds; He showed scars! It showed that He overcame death, hell and the grave. How much greater of an overcomer can there be? God wants to use you to speak to the nations, to prophesy to the hurting, and to build the house. But you have to allow Him to do some work in your life. Allow Him to tear some walls down, be your advocate, and rub in the heal ing ointment of His Word. There’s a destiny on your life that is worth fight.

Static - Test and Hear
22/11/2017 Duración: 56minThe Lord wants to spend time with us daily to strengthen us, mature us, and reveal Himself to us. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we will begin to discern His voice in our lives, but He isn’t the only one that speaks. The Bible teaches us to test every spirit that speaks into our lives, so that we may walk in truth and not be deceived. In this message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson teaches us about the gift of prophecy and how we can test the spirits we hear in order to hear the Lord clearer.

“I heard you the first time” - God
13/11/2017 Duración: 38minHave you ever found yourself feeling like you are hitting a ceiling? Like as if what you have been praying for has fallen on deaf ears? Delay to us can seem like God has stopped working in our favor, but He has never stopped. God wants you to know that He heard you the first time and He will not leave you hanging. In this message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson speaks on the spirit of delay and what it means for us to rest in the Lord, so that He can work for us and fight on our behalf.

Static - I See Dry Bones, You See An Army
13/11/2017 Duración: 40minWhere we see dry bones, the Lord sees an army. In the story of Ezekiel and the valley of dry bones, God paints a picture of what the enemy tries to do with the Body of Christ. The enemy will cause disunity amongst our bothers and sisters in order to affect our relationship with God. We are encouraged to prophesy over ourselves and into each other’s lives, but we must be mindful of our character. In this message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson speaks on the gift of prophecy and how character can affect how we speak towards others.

Static - The Voice of Others
06/11/2017 Duración: 43minThe gift of prophecy is one of depth and can often show evidence of itself in encouragement. Being able to speak life into one another, not only tears down lies, but can rejuvenate our spirits. The Word of God reminds us that the power of life and death are in the tongue and that these words last lifetimes, not just moments. In this message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson speaks on the gift of prophecy and three different types of prophetic personalities that people operate in.

Static - The Voice of Conscience
30/10/2017 Duración: 50minJust as pain is to the body, so is your conscience to your spirit. Your conscience was given to you by God to help discern and receive His voice. When you first began your walk with the Lord, your conscience was renewed, and as you spend time with the Lord, the Word of God becomes etched into your heart. The enemy will always try to muffle the voice of God in your life, and he attacks your conscience by trying to sear it with his own lies. If he can’t sear your conscience with lies, he will muddy or corrupt your conscience and how it hears the Word of God. There is good news, though! He can wash and renew your conscience with the blood of Jesus! In this message, Pastor Jeremy Johnson continues the series, “Static: Hearing God Through All The Noise,” by unpacking the biblical truth of the importance and function of your conscience.

Static- The Voice of Reason
23/10/2017 Duración: 38minHave you ever seen a butterfly and thought to yourself, “Wow that’s a beautiful caterpillar with wings!” Probably not. When a caterpillar goes through the transformation of becoming a butterfly, it sheds off the old and becomes new. It is no longer a caterpillar, but a brand new creation. Likewise with you; when you transform and become a new creation in Christ, you shed off the old. You are no longer the old, dead person you once were, but you are alive in Christ and you are transformed! In today’s podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson helps us to remember it’s not just a one-time transformation that sustains our relationship with God. God’s Word calls you to daily meet with God to transform and renew your mind, and when this happens, you will not conform to this world!

Static - Is That You God?
17/10/2017 Duración: 38minYou’ve all heard about those “burning bush” moments, where God speaks in a big way, and it’s undeniable that it’s His voice. It happened in the Bible to Moses and Paul, and it happens to people today, but that’s not the only way God speaks. He speaks in the quiet whisper like He did with Samuel and Elijah, and it’s just as powerful as those big encounters. The only way you can hear it, though, is if you’re actually listening. In this podcast, Pastor Jeremy Johnson leads us to a better understanding of how we can learn to properly discern the voice of God and grow in our own walks!

Static - Call Me
10/10/2017 Duración: 38minGod is passionate about having a relationship and speaking with us face to face. As believers, we are called to sit and spend time with our Creator in order to know His voice as He guides us daily. However, learning how to discern the voice of God in our lives can prove to be challenging when there is so much static around us. We learn in this message that there are five voices fighting for our attention: the voice of God, the voice of our flesh, the voice of our conscience, the voice of the enemy, and the voice of others. In the midst of all these voices battling for our attention, Pastor Jeremy Johnson reminds us of the importance of our daily time with the Lord and how spending this time with Him helps us decipher God’s voice. When we spend time with Him, we not only get to know who He is, but we realize who we are. It is in that place that we can be effective ministers in our daily lives.
