038 - WWF Royal Rumble 1998 Part I
15/03/2015The podcast with the biggest spaldings presents a review of the 1998 Royal Rumble - Part 1 - as we talk about the show that kicked off the Wrestlemania season that would eventually lead to WWF taking the lead in the Monday Night War - Its KAYFABULOUS! Maybe not the best show, but certainly an important historical show, and yes, MIKE TYSON is here to save the day! We'll talk about WWF's brilliant booking of Steve Austin as a babyface and a lesson on what top faces should be, as well as their strange booking of a few characters during the time. So join that young and hungry tiger Brandon Draven and me as we look back at the entire undercard including the LOD vs. NOA feud, Vader and Goldust, Midgets and Women consolidated into one segment that made Fred Blassie proud, The Rock starts to show boatloads of main event charisma and his feud with Ken Wayne Shamrock, and MORE! 037 - WCW Great American Bash 2000 Part II
08/03/2015Part II of our review of WCW Great American Bash 2000 continues to sink further and further into the toilet of this absolute horror of a PPV. The first thing we talk about is a Best of 5 Tables Match, which is already wacky, and memories of The Wall. We talk about a freaking ABORTION of a match between Scott Steiner vs. Tank Abbott that features Rick Steiner TURNING THREE TIMES IN ONE MATCH!!!! SERIOUSLY!! The genius Russo booked TWO retirement matches on one show, Hulk Hogan vs. Billy Kidman and Ric Flair vs. David Flair, featuring the GREATNESS of Vince Russo as an on screen character, booking himself to get beaten up by a 13 year old Charlotte Flair and 10 year old Reid. We talk about the Human Torch match, where a man is SET ON FIRE and just how ridiculous the entire ordeal was. Then we get to the Kevin Nash vs. Jeff Jarrett main event featuring Nash kicking out of more things in 2000 than The Rock in 2013 and Brock Lesnar in 2015, and of course the big moment that would change the business forever. Plus,

036 - WCW Great American Bash 2000 Part I
01/03/2015This week we present Part 1 of one of the worst PPVs we've ever done- WCW Great American Bash 2000, sent in by our pal Rob, smack dab in the middle of Vince Russo second run in WCW and the New Blood vs. Millionaire's Club angle. Boy oh boy are there wacky gimmicks up and down THIS card. This show has about seven turns... SEVEN... including one that was built up as being the biggest moment in the history of sports entertainment and got over like crotchrot. We talk about the M.I.A. and how you can't book a stable based on JUST puns and have it draw money, the Misfits in Action, Pamela Paulshock's humongous breasts and how she gives us all Hugh G Rections, Kronik... er.. Kolonik vs. the Paisans with botches galore, DDP vs. THE GLADIATOR in an AMB-A-LANCE match, the BIRTH of Positively Kanyon and his offensive stunt, G.I. Bro and PerfectShawn put us to sleep and then wake us up with the LEX FLEXER! This SHOW SUCKS! Come back next week for part 2 when the show lights a man ON FIRE!

035 - WCW Wrestle War 1990 "Wild Thing"
22/02/2015The Lucha Brothers review WILD THING aka Wrestle War 1990 - a show where the fans of professional wrestling have "Herd Enough". This show is an example of how one injury, bad direction, and incompetent booking can take you from having a fantastic product in 1989 to a joke of a product in 1990. We talk about Sting's injury and the original plans for 1990 and Luger's very strange and forced babyface turn. We put over tag greats like "Arn and Oleander", the Steiners coming up, the Warriors going out, Doom is oversized suits, and many many tag team matches. We debate the main event finish - was it bad, was it good? You'll get two sides to the story. PLUS - Cactus Jack Manson, Norman plays the part of every 500 lb bearded wrestling creep, the END OF THE DYNAMIC DUDES, AND... Terry Funk and Ricky Morton pay a visit to the show and talk to us!!

034 - WCW Fall Brawl 1994 + MORE!
15/02/2015This week's Kayfabulous Lucha Brothers show takes us back to 20 years ago to 1994 to review Fall Brawl 1994 - a show requested (or not) by our pal Chessarmy from Slam Zone Radio. What's funny about this show is that we taped it the NIGHT of the 2015 Royal Rumble, so you NOT ONLY get the full review of Fall Brawl 1994 but ALSO a MINI Review of Rumble 2015 including the greatness of the Triple Threat and the tremendously poorly booked Rumble match. But soon after, we get into the real meat and potatoes of Fall Brawl 94 including, but not limited to; WCW's 1994 business in the early days of the Hogan run, Ricky Steamboat's retirement and Steve Austin getting completely screwed over, Ray Traylor resembles a gumball machine and the epic, yet strangely booked, "Triangle" match with he, Sting, and Big Van Vader, Dusty proves he's a better promo guy than Dwayne yet again and then WE GET TO WAR GAMES - The MATCH BEYOND! This might not be the best War Games, but it may have been the funniest as we have Wacky Drunk Terr
