New Life Foursquare Church

Our new series begins with a sermon on 2 Kings 6:8-23. Pastor Stephen discusses how our perspective on the world shapes our reality and exhorts us to grasp the perspectives of others if we wish to fully understand God's work and identity.

Hear how God is moving through the nations of the world, bringing new life and healing to the nations. We are blessed to hear updates from OpenDoors, Foursquare Missions International and our sister church in Lira, Uganda. Also, we hear from Craig DeMoe and the opportunity to support an upcoming trip to Thailand to help rebuild an orphanage.

Pastor Stephen preaches on what Jesus's demand to "Deny Yourself" truly means in light of the complexity of our world. The text is Mark 8:27-34 and the message is to allow God to define who you are instead of keeping that right for yourself or others.

Pastor Stephen preaches for the first time out of Titus. We read Paul's words in chapter 3:3-8 and discover that it is the grace of God poured out on the believer that changes our identity. How will you live your life now that you have been saved by grace?

Pastor Stephen preaches on the present, personal power of God in the Holy Spirit. The sermon is a walk through Paul's ministry at the church in Ephesus which can be found in Acts 19:1-10.

Pastor Erica Cox from the Evangelical Covenant Church in Lynnwood, WA preaches a powerful word on the importance of tending the coals of our faith. This prophetic word is for our church as we prepare our hearts for the Spirit to descend at Pentecost: "The Fruit of the Spirit prepares us for the Gifts of the Spirit."

Chuck preaches to us on the daily life of the Christian and how God honors and uses the everyday life of every believer.

Pastor Stephen preaches on 1 Corinthians 12:12-31 to finish our short series on 1 Corinthians 11-12. We discover the need for unity and diversity as we move in one accord in the giftedness that God has given us. The ultimate answer? Love.

Pastor Stephen preaches on spiritual gifts from 1 Corinthians 12:1-11. The point of spiritual gifts is to build up the body of Christ, not for any one individual to only benefit themselves!

Pastor Stephen preaches on 1 Corinthians 11:17-34 and what it means to take communion as a community. We have a responsibility for one another as members of the same family. Look out for the needs of the people around you!

We celebrated 40 years of worship and service in Lincoln City. Pastor Tom Liljeholm gave us a short address, we heard special music performed and an interview video with some of our elders. Thank you so much to Tim and Lisa Henton and the Vineyard Church for helping us celebrate as well as all our guests (including Pastor Ron Watson).

Listen in to our Easter sermon as Pastor Stephen preaches on Mary Magdalene and what it means to meet Jesus. Joshua Deeds also gave a wonderful testimony on how God saved his life from the tragedy of a head-on collision.

Pastor Stephen preaches on Palm Sunday and how we can entrust God with our futures. Our future may not always appear like we want it to, but we discover in John 12:12-19 that God has a greater future in store than we could ever imagine!

Pastor Stephen preaches on 1 Peter 2:9-10 in our series on "New Life." Two weeks ago we discovered that having a new life means moving on from the past, now we discover who we are in the eyes of God: A chosen community, a royal priesthood, a holy ethnicity, a people of God's own possession.

Pastor Stephen preaches the last sermon in our series on signs and the Sign-Giver. The text is John 11, the raising of Lazarus from the grave. Pastor Stephen explains why John 11:17-27 is one of the most important texts within the New Testament, where Jesus declares to Martha: "I AM the Resurrection and the Life."

Pastor Stephen walks through John 9 and the testimony of the man healed from blindness. Sometimes we must bear witness to the truth, regardless of what it will cost us!

Pastor Stephen explores John 6:16-21 and the story of Jesus walking on the water. Using our imaginations, we go to the Sea of Galilee and a boat caught in the midst of a storm. We discover what this sign reveals as Jesus walks over the waves of death.
