The question of God is a lot bigger than most people think. Where do we start? Well in this series we are going to begin with our way of thinking. How does how we think influence our belief about God, life and reality?

Praying on purpose is the preparation that is needed for the simplest and most difficult challenges in life. So how would you handle a great army coming against you, an addiction, a relationship conflict? Our your reflexes equipped to trust that God is able to deal with the situation better than you?

It has been said that pray is simply talking with God but what can we learn from the conversations of the past that might give us direction and wisdom for our prayers? Listen in to the early conversation to help motivate and direct your prayer life.

Praying is grounded in and finds it's voice in the scriptures. Today we will spend time thinking through Psalm 1 and allowing God to prompt us to pray.

Praying on Purpose has three goals. We want to know better what prayer is. We want to know how to pray well. We want to be motivated to pray alone as well with others. Meeting these goals concerning prayer is founded in the word.
