(Colossians 3:1-4, 22-25) God has designed each of us uniquely. Everyone is a distinct combination of talents, abilities and gifts. Our choice of vocation should be a recognition of God’s call to simply “do what you are” and to do it with all our heart.

(Luke 5:1-11) When Jesus called the twelve disciples it changed their lives. He called for a whole-hearted commitment to follow him. For each of them their way of living was changed drastically. What should that call look like for us? How do we follow him with the rest of our lives?

(The Ends of the Earth) We are called to reach out to the ends of the earth with the message of Jesus Christ. How are you able to make a difference for Christ in a place far from home?

(Samaria) In Jesus' day, Samaria was the place that was considered off-limits. But Jesus called his disciples to reach out to that area. Where is your "Samaria," and how is God prompting you to make a difference there?

(Judea) God has placed you in the perfect community to fulfill His mission - your community! How can you reach out to your surrounding community?

Northgate campus has a fantastic location. It is situated on top of a hill overlooking the water, and has a great view. What we don't often realize is that our sphere of influence as a church is literally as far as the eye can see. As far as our "view" is, so is our mission field in our surrounding communities. So the question is, how do we turn our view into a vision to reach our communities? In Acts 1:8, Jesus says that his disciples will be his witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the Ends of the Earth. It is also a metaphor for our mission as Christ followers... (Jerusalem) Open House: Some of the best outreach starts at home. How can you use your home to reach people for Christ?

Have you experienced a life-changing moment? Has there been a turning point in your life? How can God use these moments to draw attention to Him?

Is there a difference between gifts and talents? How can God turn your gifts and talents into purpose and passion for His Kingdom?

Do your friends help you grow in your faith, or do they pull you away from God? How can you find and build friendships that help you grow closer to God?

How much time do you spend with God? Is He your focus, or just an afterthought? Can spending time with God be more than just praying and reading your Bible?

Matthew 5:38-48 Revenge is an endless cycle. Every hurt that is returned with a hurt continues to escalate the problem. Is there any way to break the cycle?

Matthew 5:31-37 There is nothing more important than integrity. We are to speak and live truthfully, we are to be faithful to our promises and true to our word.

Matthew 5:21-26 Anger is a powerful emotion. You can learn to control angry outbursts and divert aggressive behavior but the real change needs to take place within because anger has to do with our thoughts and words as much as our actions.

(Mother’s Day) - Matthew 5:17-20 Every life comes as a gift and every life holds a deep longing for fulfillment. The fulfilled life is one that fully becomes what they were created to be. Jesus taught such a life is not determined by external conformity but by a transformation of the soul.

A New You - Matthew 5:1-16 Like it or not we are being evaluated by our behavior. More than that, Christianity itself is being appraised by our actions and attitudes toward those around us. What are people looking for and how can we best display it in our lives?

Ephesians 4:1-16, John 15:1-17 Many claim to believe in God but have rejected the church. They want to enjoy a relationship with God without a commitment to a church family. Is that an option? Can you be a Christian without belonging to a church?

Phil. 2:5-11, John 8:48-58 For centuries there has been debate over Jesus. Who was He really? What did his early followers believe about him? What did he say about himself? Do his teachings really make sense if he made the claim to be God?

1 Cor. 5:1-22, John 11:17-27: Many people spend their lives trying to be a “good enough” person to get into heaven but how do you know what’s “good enough?” The answer to our “good enough’ problem is grace. In Jesus, God did for us what we couldn’t do for ourselves. His resurrection assures us, what he did was more than “good enough”.

Acts 17:16-31, John 14:1-7 It’s an amicable notion but any honest examination of world religions makes it clear they are very different and Christianity stands out uniquely. What is it that makes Christianity different?

Sometimes you just need some encouragement from those closest to you. Knowing what natural abilities God blessed you with can help give you a direction for your life that will let you be successful in your endeavors.
