(Genesis 1&3) About 90% of Americans profess a belief in God, but who is this God and what is it that we actually believe about him?

On Missions Sunday, Pastor Ken Jensen welcomes special guest, Tom Eggum, from Hope 4 Kids International. Hope 4 Kids and Northgate have been partners in ministry for over 16 years. In addition to providing a status of Northgate's long term efforts to sponsor 51 wells in Uganda, Tom also brings an inspirational scriptural message to the church during the morning services. 

(1 Timothy 6:17-19) The road to financial freedom isn't just about how we handle our money, it's really about taking hold of a life that is truly life.

(Matthew 6:21)  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 

(Matthew 6:19-24; Proverbs 22) As we shift our attitudes towards our money, the second step to financial freedom is the address our bondage of debt.

(Luke 12:16-34) The road to financial freedom is clearly marked. Jesus gave us plenty of direction. We just need to keep our eyes on the road. Financial freedom starts with a shift in our attitude. 

(Nehemiah) Whether it's a devastating fire, a broken marriage or the loss of a job, we will all face times when we are forced to start over. How do you rebuild your life when it's all fallen apart?

In a short message to the church, Pastor Ken Jensen highlights some of the special efforts that Northgate staff and volunteers made this last week in support of those most affected by the Northern California wildfires. The church partnered with other nearby churches and organizations to become a distribution hub that literally sent over a hundred truckloads of material goods to relocation and support centers throughout the Napa/Sonoma region. Ken also brings some exciting news about some key changes coming for the Vallejo site that will begin in December. 

(2 Corinthians 5:14-21) Your life-purpose is more than your goals. It is deeper than your accomplishments. It is a description of what you believe God wants you to do with your life.

(Matthew 25:14-27) Your life purpose includes two elements: Your contribution to the lives of others and the difference it makes over time.

(Romans 8:22-32) Discovering and living out your purpose is a journey. And God uses every experience in your life journey to shape your purpose.

(Romans 12:4-5; 9-18) When you live out your purpose it will be outward-focused, it will make a difference and you'll need the help of others. 

(Romans 12:1-3) Most people can tell you WHAT they do. Many can tell you HOW they do it. But the question of a purposeful life is WHY do you do what you do? It's the WHY that gives life meaning.

(John 21:2-9, 15-22) We've all been there - stuck with the regrets of our past, sitting in the mess of our mistakes. How do you get past your past? Is it really possible to start over?
